Welcome back. Today’s main slate has fourteen games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Yankees, Diamondbacks, and the Twins so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.

Today’s free pick comes from the Red Sox with Bobby Dalbec ($3,600 on DK, $3,000 on FD). Dalbec is backing hitting home runs again. He will face a lefty tonight, in Dean Kremer of the Orioles, in which he has a batting average of 0.318, and two home runs and three doubles in just 22 at-bats.

Behind the paywall expect to find high value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.

Pitching DFS Picks for September 23rd, 2020

We are going to look at the Twins for pitching. Kenta Maeda ($9,200 on DK, $10,000 on FD). It’s not a night full of stud starting pitching, which explains Valdez’s price. He is facing a Mariners team that is striking out 30 percent of the time, and Valdez had a nice start against the Mariners earlier in the year going seven innings, struck out seven batters and didn’t give up any runs. He should be worth the cost tonight.

Our second pitching choice today is Max Fried ($9,000 on DK, $9,100 on FD) of the Braves. Fried doesn’t put up big strikeout numbers typically, but he does to a good job of suppressing runs and hits, which makes him valuable at this price. The Marlins have hit left-handed pitching well recently, but the Braves have been scoring a lot of runs tonight, so there should be an opportunity for Fried to get the win even if he gives up a couple of runs.

Infield DFS Picks for September 23rd, 2020

Tommy Edman ($4,600 on DK, $2,900 on FD) hasn’t been particularly hot, but he has hit left-handed pitching particularly well this year. In this 32 at-bats vs them, he has a batting average of 0.406, to go along with four extra base hits.

The other infield play today is Nick Ahmed ($3,800 on DK, N/A on FD) of the Diamondbacks. In the last five games, Ahmed has been getting it done in lots of different ways. He has two multi-hit games, a home run, a triple and a steal. The Diamondbacks are expected to be among the higher-scoring teams tonight, and getting him as a discounted piece of that is a good play.

Outfield DFS Picks for September 23rd, 2020

Alex Dickerson ($4,300 on DK, $2,800 on FD) has been on a nice streak as of last. He has hit a home run in back to back games, and he has a couple of three-hit games in his last five games and a pair of doubles. The Giants are going to face Ryan Castellani of the Rockies tonight, who has given up five total homes in his last three starts and is coming off an outing where he gave up seven runs.

Max Kepler ($4,200 on DK, $2,900 on FD) has gotten hot in his last three games. In those three games he has a pair of games with three hits, go along with two home runs and two doubles. With the Twins facing the Tigers tonight, don’t be surprised if they put up a lot of runs and if Kepler is a big part of that.
