Welcome back. Today’s slate has eleven games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Rockies, Giants, and the Brewers, so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.
Today’s free pick comes from the Chicago Cubs. Anthony Rizzo ($5,100 on DK, $3,900 on FD). Over the last five days, Rizzo has a 1.250 SLG, including three home runs. Rizzo will face Chad Kuhl and the lowly Pirates tonight.
Pitching DFS Picks for September 1st, 2020
We are going to look to the Dodgers for pitching. Julio Urias ($9,200 on DK, $9,400 on FD) will face a Diamondbacks team that has scored just 10 runs in the last five days and has an SLG of just 0.322(third-worst in baseball) off left-handed pitching.
Our second pitching choice today is Josh Lindblom ($8,000 on DK, $6,800 on FD) of the Milwaukee Brewers. Lindblom is facing the Tigers tonight who are striking out 27 percent of the time. Lindblom himself strikes out 32 percent of the batters he faces, so if he can limit the runs he could have a big night.
Infield DFS Picks for September 1st, 2020
Rafael Devers ($5,000 on DK, $3,500 on FD) has a 0.455 batting average and a 1.091 SLG over the last 5 days. He has back to back multi-hit games and will be facing Ian Anderson of the Braves in just his second MLB start.
If you are looking for a value play today check out Orlando Arcia ($2,700 on DK, $2,300 on FD). Arcia is hitting 0.500 in his last eleven at-bats, with a 0.800 SLG. At his price, you will have no issues getting someone like Christian Yelich into your line-up to stack the Brewers.
Outfield DFS Picks for September 1st, 2020
Franmil Reyes ($3,800 on DK, $3,000 on FD) is a player who could have a big night. He will be facing Matt Harvey(yes that Matt Harvey), and the Royals. Harvey this season has an ERA over 11, and Franmil is slugging 0.786 over the last 5 days.
Kyle Schwarber ($4,100 on DK, $3,200 on FD) is another Cubs hitter who has been hot as of late. He has four home runs in the last five days, and with how well the Cubs are hitting right now, he should see plenty of at-bats/opportunities in this one.
