Welcome back. Today’s main slate has six games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Dodgers, Yankees, and Astros so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.

Today’s free pick comes from the Yankees with Clint Frazier ($4,300 on DK, $3,400 on FD). Frazier has been on a tear recently, with three consecutive multi-hit games, and home runs in back to back games. The Yankees have worn out the Blue Jays, and I think we could see another high scoring game again tonight.

Behind the paywall expect to find high value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.

Pitching DFS Picks for September 17th, 2020

We are going to look at the Astros for pitching. Framber Valdez ($9,200 on DK, $9,100 on FD). In Valdez’s previous start against the Rangers, he struck out 8, in seven innings. The Rangers right now are striking out a league-high 32.2 percent over the last five games, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him pass the ten strikeout mark tonight.

Our second pitching choice today is Dakota Hudson ($8,200 on DK, 8,700 on FD) of the Cardinals. Hudson is exactly the boring kind of player who can really help your lineup. He doesn’t give up a lot of runs(he has given up three runs or more just once this year), but he doesn’t strike a lot of batters out, which means he is likely to be overlooked by many players. He could quietly give you 15-20+ points tonight against a weak Pirates lineup.

Infield DFS Picks for September 17th, 2020

DJ LeMahieu ($5,400 on DK, $4,000 on FD) now has hits in each of his last nine games and has tortured the Blue Jays pitching in the last two games. In those two games, he has seven hits, three doubles and three home runs. Expect another long game and lots of Yankees runs tonight, and LeMahieu to be a part of that.

The other infield play today is Tommy Edman ($4,200 on DK, $2,900 on FD) of the Cardinals. Edman hits left-handed pitching particularly well, with a batting average of 0.385 against them on the season, as well as a double, a triple and two home runs. Overall Edman, has hits in each of his last three games, and five of his last six, so I would expect him to have a nice game tonight.

Outfield DFS Picks for September 17th, 2020

Scott Kingery ($2,200 on DK, $2,200 on FD) has had a disappointing season, but he has started to pick things up. He has extra-base hits in his last three games. It looks like this could be a bullpen type game for the Mets, as Seth Lugo hasn’t gone past the 5th inning in any of his starts yet, so there could be lots of opportunities for Kingery tonight.

Tyler Naquin ($2,600 on DK, $2,700 on FD) has a batting average of 0.500 and an SLG percentage of 0.700 in the last five days. In those games, he has one multi-hit game, and an extra-base hit, which doesn’t sound particularly existing, however, he is facing Casey Mize who has a 5.85 ERA in his short MLB career, there is room for a big night.
