Welcome back. Today’s main slate has eight games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Yankees, White Sox, and Brewers so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on. Keep an eye on player availability as the slates on DK and FD are different today.

Today’s free pick comes from the Pirates with Josh Bell ($3,700 on DK, $2,700 on FD). Bell has come back down to earth after having a career year in 2019, but he has gotten hot recently. He has multi-hit games in three of his last four games, and home runs in each of his last two. Bell is certainly capable of having another big game today against Royals starter Brad Keller.

Behind the paywall expect to find high value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.

Pitching DFS Picks for September 13th, 2020

We are going to look at the Rays for pitching. Charlie Morton ($7,500 on DK, $7,500 on FD). Morton went five innings in his last start for the first time since coming back off the injured list. He will be facing the Red Sox today who has been an average offensive team. I look for the Morton to get the win today and to look more like his old self.  Our second pitching choice today is Sixto Sanchez ($6,200 on DK, N/A on FD) of the Marlins. Sixto has been a stud so far this year. In his last time out, he sent six scoreless against the Braves and struck out six in that game. In his last three starts, he has gone at least six innings in each and has only given up two runs total. He is usable in both cash and GPP formats, but be mindful that he could be highly owned.

Infield DFS Picks for September 13th, 2020

Jose Abreu ($5,300 on DK, $3,700 on FD) crushed the Tigers yesterday going four for four, with two home runs. He has had a few streaks this year where he as hit multiple home runs in back to back games, and I would be willing to pay up to see if today is another one of those games as he faces a worn out Tigers pitching staff. The other infield play today is Miguel Andujar ($3,800 on DK, $2,500 on FD). Andujar has been productive against left-handed pitching all year and has hit lefties the best of all of the Yankees over the last few weeks. He is a player I would want to use in GPP games today, although he does have hits in four of his last five games, so he is cash game viable as well.

Outfield DFS Picks for September 13th, 2020

Nelson Cruz ($5,400 on DK, $3,900 on FD) is more of a GPP play today. He doesn’t have a hit in each of his last two games, but he is facing a rookie today in Triston McKenzie. In Cruz’s last five games he has a pair of home runs and should be thought of as a threat each and every night.

Hunter Renfroe ($3,700 on DK, $2,800 on FD) is very much a boom or bust player, as he is largely either hitting home runs or striking out. He has shown a lot of power against left handing pitching so far, with four home runs in just 35 at-bats. In the last four weeks, Renfroe has a 0.300 batting average and a 1.200 SLG percentage against left-handed pitching, making him a prime player to target today.
