We have seven games today with the first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Fernando Tatis Jr. and the San Diego Padres, taking on Kris Bryant and the San Francisco Giants in San Francisco. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Houston Astros (5.3), Los Angeles Dodgers (5.1), and the Toronto Blue Jays (4.8).
The weather looks good across the board today, with less than a 10 percent chance of rain for all games today.
Here is a selection of today’s Core Players 50-50 MLB DFS lineup for 9/13/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Outfield | Teoscar Hernandez | $4,700 |
Adam Wainwright – P ($9,000) – Consistent has been the word that has described Wainwright’s season. He had a bit of a rough outing against the Dodgers in his last start, but he has gotten the win in eight of his last nine starts.
Nolan Arenado – 3B ($4,800) – With home runs in back-to-back games, Arenado is worth a look today. He has shown that he has plenty of power in his bat in his first season away from Coors Field.
Bo Bichette – SS ($5,000) – Bichette has four multi-hit games in his last five games with two home runs and a stolen base. The Blue Jays certainly won’t score as many runs as they did last night, but they have definitely shown they will score lots of runs day in and day out.
Teoscar Hernandez –OF ($4,700) – With three straight multi-hit games for Teoscar, he feels like a value at his price. In those three games, he has seven hits, two doubles, two home runs, and he has scored nine runs and drove in eight other runs.
Mookie Betts – OF ($5,500) Betts has at least a hit and he has scored a run in five straight games. He has multi-hit games with home runs in back-to-back games for the Dodgers and I look for him to keep that streak going again tonight.

The Pitchers
Eduardo Rodriguez ($8,800 DK) Rodriguez has been inconsistent in his recent starts, but he will face a Mariners team that has started to struggle and has a team batting average of just 0.223 over the last two weeks which makes this a game where Rodriguez is worth taking a look at.
Clayton Kershaw ($10,400) – This will be Kershaw’s first start in just about two months. Before his injury, he had pitched well and was striking out better than 30 percent of the batters he faced. He will face a Diamondbacks team that has struggled recently getting on base 29 percent of the time in the last two weeks.
Jake Odorizzi ($7,600 DK) This is a good matchup to use Odorizzi. He hasn’t given up more than two runs in each of his last four starts, and he will be facing a Texas team that is among the more offensively challenged teams in the league.
The Value Players
Brandon Belt – 1B ($3,800) – Belt oddly had the day off yesterday, but Belt does have four straight multi-hit games, with three doubles and three home runs in his last five games, and he is barely over 3k.
Tommy La Stella- 2B ($2,500) – With La Stella leading off for the Giants most days, he will almost always be worth a look. The Padres pitching has been much worse on the road this season, which also helps increase La Stella’s value.
Jesus Sánchez- OF ($3,000) – Sánchez is a player with big power, and it has been on display recently. He has hit a home run in three straight games, and he also chipped in a triple along with it yesterday.
The Stacks
San Francisco Giants – We discussed LaStella and Belt, and you can add either Evan Longoria or LaMonte Wade Jr, and have a solid stack today going up against a Padres team that doesn’t pitch as well away from home.
Toronto Blue Jays – The Blue Jays are a tough team to read right now with them scoring 22 runs yesterday. That said, I look to the previously mentioned Hernandez and Bichette, and I would be looking to add Lourdes Gurriel Jr to that, or you can roll the dice on someone like Jake Lamb who has been hitting recently as well.
Houston Astros – Astros players won’t come cheap today but if you can find the values, you should get a quality stack from Yordan Alvarez, Kyle Tucker, and Alex Bregman.
