DFS MLB Baseball Picks for October 8, 2020

Yankees second baseman

Today’s main slate has four games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Braves, and the Yankees so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.

Today’s free pick comes from the Yankees with Gleyber Torres. ($3,900 on DK, $3,000 on FD). Torres has slowed a bit since his hot start to these playoffs, but he does consistently get on base, and he is a threat to give you a multi-hit and home-run game. With how he is priced and the rate the Yankees have scored, getting part of their offence, especially around the middle of the order can really pay off.

Subscribers can expect to find high-value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.

Pitching DFS Picks for October 8, 2020

We are going to look to the Marlins for pitching with Sixto Sanchez ($8,100 on DK, $9,500 on FD). In his last start, Sixto had five shutout innings where he struck out six batters. I expect a similar length of start from him today, with around five strikeouts, and for him to limit the runs against.

Infield DFS Picks for October 8, 2020

Brian Anderson ($3,800 on DK, $3,000 on FD) has hit the Braves well so far. He has four hits in six at-bats, with a double. He will be facing Kyle Wright today, who is making his playoff debut, but he did have an ERA over five during the year, due to some blow-up starts, and gave up three runs or more in five of his seven starts.

Outfield DFS Picks for October 8, 2020

Hunter Renfroe ($3,700 on DK, $2,700 on FD) hit for a lot of power against left-handed pitching this year, with five of his six hits being home runs. As often noted with Renfroe, he is a boom or bust player, if he gets a hit it is likely for extra-bases, but the rest of his putting up a zero is there, so I would use him in GPP only.
