Today’s main slate has four games. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the Braves, and the Yankees so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on.
Today’s free pick comes from the Braves with Austin Riley. ($2,900 on DK, $2,800 on FD). The Braves showed the ability to score in bunches in these playoffs, so getting a piece of their offence at a discount is always a good idea. Riley, while his batting order placement isn’t great has hit well. He has a 0.272 batting average and has shown the ability to hit for power as well.
Subscribers can expect to find high-value plays that are notably well priced on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have two pitchers, infielders and outfielders that we love for today’s main slate of games. And we’ve got more.
Pitching DFS Picks for October 7, 2020
We are going to look to the Athletics for pitching with Jesus Luzardo ($7,500 on DK, $6,600 on FD). Luzardo will face an Astros team that didn’t hit left-handed pitchers well during the regular season(0.232 batting average, 0.403 SLG). He faced the Astros twice this season and didn’t give up more than two runs in either start, while he struck out five and seven batters respectively. This should be a nice bounce-back opportunity for Luzardo after having a rough outing in the previous round.
Infield DFS Picks for October 7, 2020
Chris Taylor ($4,400 on DK, $2,800 on FD) has arguably been the best hitters on the Dodgers so far in these playoffs. He isn’t a huge home run threat, but he does hit some, and he gets extra-base hits as seen in his 0.500 SLG. He also plays all over the diamond so you don’t have the risk of his being taken out late in games.
Outfield DFS Picks for October 7, 2020
Aaron Hicks ($3,500 on DK, $2,900 on FD) has quietly been playing quite well for the Yankees in these playoffs. He has a 0.357 batting average, and an 0.500 SLG. With the Rays likely only getting 3-4 innings out of Charlie Morton today, the Yankees will likely score lots of runs again as they see a heavy dose of the Rays bullpen.
