We have just a four-game slate with first pitches at 7:15 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Trevor Bauer and the Los Angeles Dodgers, taking on Joey Gallo and the Texas Rangers in Los Angeles. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Chicago Cubs (4.9), Los Angeles Dodgers(4.8), and Houston Astros(4.8), Minnesota Twins(4.8).
We are not seeing any weather situations that should effect any of today’s games.

Trevor Bauer ($9,800)
While Bauer’s last few starts haven’t been his best, he is easily the best pitcher on this slate, and this also means that he will be highly owned, probably more than 70%, so the performance almost doesn’t really matter.
Austin Barnes ($3,400)
Barnes really comes in as a player who you are adding to make salary work. The situation is good going against a poor pitching team in the Rangers, but his recent performance isn’t great.
Anthony Rizzo ($5,000)
In Rizzo’s last three games he has two home runs and a double. This is a good situation going against the Cardinals today. We saw the start of John Gant’s regression this time last season.
Brandon Crawford ($4,000)
In Crawford’s last six games, he has three multi-hit games, three home runs, and a couple of doubles. You have to like Crawford’s price here on a short slate.
Nelson Cruz ($5,300)
Cruz is a player with just four games that we are going to push our chips in on. He has hit a home run in back-to-back games, and with the Twins expected to score as many runs as anyone tonight, I expect Cruz to be a big part of their offence.

Here are the other 50-50 MLB DFS players that we are into for 6/12/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Pitcher | Trevor Bauer | $11,000
Pitcher | Jose Berrios | $7,600
Pitcher | Luis Garcia | $8,100
Catcher | Austin Barnes | $3,400
First Base | Anthony Rizzo | $5,000
Second Base | Sergio Alcantara | $2,700
Third Base | Starlin Castro | $3,000
Third Base | Justin Turner | $5,200
Short Stop | Brandon Crawford | $4,000
Outfield | Nelson Cruz | $5,300
Outfield | Joc Pederson | $4,800
Outfield | Alex Kirilloff | $4,300 |
Salary Remaining $100
José Berríos ($7,600)
One of the challenges with short slates is picking two pitchers. Berríos’ has only given up more than one run in one of his last three starts. He has had issues giving up home runs as of late, but with this being a home game it should give the Twins an edge in the wins department.
Luis Garcia– P ($8,100 DK) Garcia has had an impressive run over this last three starts giving up just one run in each of those starts against Boston, Toronto and the Dodgers, and striking out no less than six batters in those starts as well. If you’re not buying the Twins bats tonight then you should definitely look at Garcia.
Sergio Alcántara ($2,700)
Starlin Castro ($3,000)
Castro is a player we are looking at tonight to just get us something. He has hits in two of his last three games, and we don’t need a lot from him today to hit value today either.
Justin Turner – OF ($5,200 DK) If you’re going to pay up for Dodgers bats, you should start with Turner. He has three home runs in this last three games, six total hits. He has a great line up spot, and he is in a lineup that can easily put up a big run total.
Joc Pederson ($4,800)
Pederson is very hot right now. He has two home runs, and two doubles in his last three games, and with the Cubs facing a right handed starter tonight, he will definitely be in the line.
Alex Kiriloff ($4,300)
Kiriloff is on a seven game hitting streak. The extra base hits haven’t been there, but he is hitting the ball hard so they should come in the near future if he keeps hitting the ball this way.
