We have a six-game slate with the first pitch at 7:15 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees, taking on Zack Greinke and the Houston Astros in Houston. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Los Angeles Dodgers (5.3), Milwaukee Brewers (5.1), the Los Angeles Angels (4.4).

Here is a selection of today’s Core Players 50-50 MLB DFS lineup for 7/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Walker Buehler  – P ($9,600)

Buehler hasn’t given up more than three runs in a start since May 11th. That is almost two months. He will be facing a struggling Arizona team today, and he is easily the safest play at pitcher today.

Luke Voit – 1B ($3,700)

In Voit’s last four games he has two multi-hit games and two doubles. Voit is known for hitting for power so there is hope that the power is coming, and you’re getting him on the cheap tonight.

David Fletcher – 2B ($2,800)

Fletcher has been red hot lately. He has four straight multi-hit games, and he hit a home run last night. His price won’t stay this low for long, so take advantage of it while you can.

Willy Adames – SS ($4,900)

Adames has hits in nine of his last ten games as he has continued to hit well since becoming a Brewer. He has a double and a home run in his last four games, and he has an extra-base hit in five of his last seven games.

Shohei Ohtani – OF ($6,000)

There is enough value on the board tonight to fit in the mighty Ohtani. He has two home runs and a double in his last three games, as he continues to torch pitchers throughout the league.

The Pitchers

Joe Musgrove ($7,700 DK) The last two starts from Musgrove have been rough giving up five runs in his last two starts. That said, he is going to be facing the Rockies at home, and the Rockies have a betting average of just  0.244, and a SLG of 0.383 over the last two weeks.

Gerrit Cole ($10,000) – A lot of people will be off Cole today coming off a bad start and facing the Astros. But Cole has big strikeout potential as you know, but the Astros have the second worst SLG in MLB in the last two weeks, so he is going to be a good buy tonight if you’re willing to take on some risk.

Freddy Peralta($9,200) – Much like Buehler, Peralta hasn’t given up more than two runs in a start since early May. I don’t like him as much as I do Buehler tonight, as Cincinnati’s lineup has some pop in it, but Peralta has been consistently very good this season.

The Value Players

AJ Pollock – OF ($3,500) – In his last two games Pollock has two double and two home runs. His place in the lineup is variable, but it hasn’t effect his play one hit this season.

Wil Myers  – OF ($3,400) – This is a great price for Myers. He has five extra base hits(four doubles and a home run) in his last five games. You’re getting him very cheap in a good matchup against the Rockies.

Tyler Stephenson – C/1B ($3,700) – Stephenson continues to hit and he is in the middle of the Reds lineup. It’s a tough matchup against the Brewers and Freddy Peralta, but he has hits in seven of his last nine games.

The Stacks

Los Angeles Dodgers – With being able to get Pollock cheap, you’re also going to be able to get a couple of other Dodgers in without too much issue. You can add Justin Turner, along with a Max Muncy, or Cody Bellinger, and if you really want to pay up Mookie Betts.

San Diego Padres – The Rockies pitching is not good. We have a value play in Myers, Eric Hosmer has also been playing better, but we also have Pham, Machado and Grisham who are all hitting well right now.

Milwaukee Brewers – The Brewers have four players who are all hitting well going into tonight. Luis Urias, Jace Peterson, Willy Adames, and Avisail Garcia. Urias and Adames are the most expensive of the bunch but you shouldn’t stuggle to get and combination of these players into your lineup if you want to stack the Brewers facing Vladimir Gutierrez who gives up more than 1.5 home runs per nine innings and 70 percent of the balls hit off of him are in the air, so we could see lots of Brewers runs tonight.
