This mornings matches saw GenG and Fnatic break out of group C. GenG went 3-0 on the day but not in the most convincing of fashions. They had an extremely close game against LGD off the back of Rascal’s domination of Langx with Volibear. They were gifted a win against TSM after a colossal throw at baron. However, they dismantled Fnatic in the final game of the day in the battle for the number one seed. TSM made history as the first ever number one seed (team who won their regional title) to go 0-6 in the group stage of a world championship. With Flyquest being the last hope of North America, we will have to see if they can make the miracle run to get out of the group of death.
Today’s free pick is Pyosik ($7,000 DK, $8,200 FD) from DRX. He has posted a tournament best seven average kills per game and was the main factor in keeping the first match between DRX and TES so competitive. Across stating junglers he is third in KDA, first in average kills per game, third in average deaths per game, and nineth in average assists per game. Pyosik has looked at his best on the hard farming carry junglers in Nidalee and Kindred, while having an admirable performance on Lee Sin. DRX should look to keep him on the hard farm junglers. If Pyosik gets his hands on any of Kindred, Nidalee, Graves, or Lillia, he will be on for big points.
Subscribers will additionally what statistical beasts will continue their strong worlds runs, who to pick for MVP, which players from underdog teams can have great value, and which rookie will continue to shine.
Tomorrows matches will be exclusively from group D. In the first phase of group stage, group D has mirrored group B with the two of the pre-tournament favorites sitting at the top of the group in TES having a record of 3-0 and DRX having a record of 2-1, with Flyquest and the Unicorns of Love duking it out for third place.
Top Lane DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
369 ($6,800 DK, $8,500 FD) has been the best top laner at worlds 2020 and shouldn’t slow down in TES’s phase two of group stage. He has looked masterful on split push carry tops like Jax, Camille, and Renekton. His use of wave pressure and manipulation can accrue advantages in his lane without having to smash his opponent through jungle pressure or assistance from other lanes. He ranks first in KDA, first in average kills per game, fifth in average deaths per game, and third in assists per game across all starting top laners for worlds 2020. Unless opponents choose to throw all their resources at 369 and try to shut him down as hard as possible, he will continue his great performances.
Jungle DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
Statistically speaking, Karsa ($7,200 DK, $8,600 FD) is miles ahead of all other starting junglers at worlds 2020. His KDA of nineteen with a score line of 13/2/25 is a tournament best and is more than double the next best jungler’s KDA. Among starting junglers he is first in KDA, third in average kills per game, first in average deaths per game with only 0.7 (next best is 1.5), and second in average assists per game. He has shined on the two best jungle champions at the tournament in Graves and Nidalee.
Mid Lane DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
Chovy ($7,400 DK, $8,700 FD) remains flawless as ever in the laning phase, rarely dying and making plays around the map. He is viewed as the best laning mid laner in the world as is constantly able to take small laning advantages and blow it open into a big lead. Among all starting mid laners he is first in KDA with 7.3 and averages only one death per game. DRX had a very close game against TES, and their rematch should determine who gets out of group D as the number one seed.
Despite being in a group with two of the top 3 mid laners in the world, PowerOfEvil ($7,200 DK, $8,100 FD) has managed to hold his own in this group. Across three games his KDA sits at 12/7/10 with decent laning against both Chovy and knight. In Flyquest’s only win, PowerOfEvil put his entire team on his back against the Unicorns of Love. If you need a cheaper mid laner, should Flyquest manage a win against TES or DRX it will likely be off the back of PoweOfEvil.
AD Carry DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
After constant nerfs, JackeyLove ($8,000 DK, $10,500 FD) makes Senna look like the best AD carry in the game despite its pick rate falling. JackeyLove has played Senna all three games and has a KDA of 12/4/41. He is second in the whole tournament for KDA at 13.3 and first in average assists per game. Among starting AD carries he is first in KDA, second in kills per game, third in average deaths per game, and first in average assists per game with nearly double the next closest player. If either JackeyLove gets Senna or teams choose to ban it and force him on to a more carry oriented champion he will score big.
Support DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
Like Pyosik, Keria ($5,400 DK, $7,600 FD) is another first-year player shining on the worlds stage. Despite having a weak game against TES, Keria ranks in the top half of all supports at worlds in KDA, kills per game, and assists per game being first in kills per game. In his first ever professional split in the LCK spring 2020 season he achieved first team all-pro leading DRX to a third-place finish losing to the eventual split winners in T1. In the summer split Keria was on the second team all-pro leading DRX to a second-place finish losing to Damwon in the finals. Safe to say that Keria has silenced all the doubters with his performances so far. With the first match between DRX and TES so close, Keria needs a great performance to lead DRX to the first seed of group D.
Along with PowerOfEvil, IgNar ($5,000 DK, $6,900 FD) has had good performances against difficult bot lane opponents in JackeyLove plus yuyanjia and Deft plus Keria. His KDA is 1/9/20 with their only win on his best champion in Rakan which he was 0/2/11. IgNar provides the spark for Flyquest in mid game teamfights with Rakan or Pantheon and should they pick up a win against TES or DRX IgNar will be one of the main contributors.
Team DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
Both DRX ($5,000 DK, $7,600 FD) and TES ($5,400 DK, $7,900 FD) are expected to get out of group D with relative ease. Whichever team you favor in the rematch between DRX and TES should be who you choose for team.
MVP DFS Picks for October 11, 2020
All TES players are MVP caliber players. Although JackeyLove and Karsa have some of the best overall stats in the tournament, knight and 369 have the highest kills per game on TES and therefore should be weighed slightly above as kills give more value than assists for MVP players. On DRX, Pyosik has a tournament best seven average kills per game if you have more faith in DRX.
