It feels like each day of LCS so far this season there is one or more upsets. In the current LCS landscape any team can beat any team which is making each day of games more exciting.
Here’s a partial lineup with picks who have high projected scores for February 14 on DraftKings and FanDuel
MVP | ||
Top Lane | Huni | $6,400 DK, $8,200 FD |
Jungle | ||
Mid Lane | ||
AD Carry | Zven | $8,000 DK, $10,400 FD |
Support | ||
TEAM | Cloud9 | $5,800 DK, $8,000 FD |
Huni ($6,400 DK, $8,200 FD) has vastly improved since his first few games on TSM in the Lock In tournament. Fans were asking for him to be replaced by TSM’s academy top laner Hauntzer only after one week into the LCS season. Those comments seem to have died down now with Huni’s great performances over the last three games. He finally had a great Gnar game in their upset win over Team Liquid, a pick that been criticized since the Lock In tournament. He has additionally showed some alternate playstyles in the Moonstone Lulu top and split push carries in Camille and Gangplank. Huni seems to be improving each game which is a good trend for TSM.
Zven ($8,000 DK, $10,400 FD) remains to be the rock for Cloud9, performing in the clutch moments. Zven got off to a rough start against 100 Thieves, dying twice to bot lane tower dives allowing FBI to pull far ahead of him. In the mid and late game, he got back into the game through great teamfighting and positioning on Samira finishing with a score line of 7/4/9. As FlyQuest has been playing mages in the bot lane, specifically Seraphine, expect an easier laning phase for Zven in Cloud9’s match against FlyQuest.
Cloud9 ($5,800 DK, $8,000 FD) versus FlyQuest is the only match I have confidence where I think the favorite (Cloud9) will win. With TSM upsetting Team Liquid and Immortals smashing Evil Geniuses, the other four matchups have the chance of going either way. Cloud9 has looked like the best team in the LCS across the first five games of the spring split and have the easiest matchup on paper Sunday against FlyQuest. FlyQuest has struggled with fast paced games this season, the style that Cloud9 likes to work in. Should the game get off to a fast start for Cloud9 it should be difficult for FlyQuest to keep up in pace.
Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now?

DraftKings and FanDuel Lineup for February 14
MVP | Blaber | $11,400 DK [MVP], $9,000 FD |
Top Lane | Huni | $6,400 DK, $8,200 FD |
Jungle | Iconic | $6,200 DK, $7,500 FD |
Mid Lane | PowerOfEvil | $7,000 DK, $9,300 FD |
AD Carry | Zven | $8,000 DK, $10,400 FD |
Support | Huhi | $5,000 DK, $6,300 FD |
TEAM | Cloud9 | $5,800 DK, $8,000 FD |
Remaining Salary | $200 DK, $1,300 FD |
Blaber ($11,400 DK [MVP], $9,000 FD) once again carries Cloud9 to victory. Even though 100 Thieves threw five jungle bans at Blaber, he still found success on an unlikely Rek’sai pick. Blaber got rolling early with two tower dives in bot and mid lane to get Cloud9 a quick lead. He stumbled a bit in the mid game giving over could soul to 100 Thieves as Cloud9 started to fall behind, but a great 2v4 fight at baron lead to two kills for Blaber and stopped the 100 Thieves comeback in its tracks. It’s impressive that Blaber is still able to perform at his best even when he is put on an off-meta champion and the enemy team is utilizing all their bans on him.
There are many great value picks for the CLG vs GG match as all the players are cheap and the match can go either way. However, Iconic ($6,200 DK, $7,500 FD) is the best of them all as he is listed as the cheapest jungler on FanDuel and fourth cheapest on DraftKings. Being the best player on the Golden Guardians roster it’s a no brainer to include him in your lineup for Sunday’s matches as he will be up against the worst team in the league. Iconic has performed admirably in Golden Guardians’ rebuilding season with solid performances in all five games. Golden Guardians’ issues have stemmed from their solo laners and bot lane who should have an easier time against the weak CLG.
PowerOfEvil ($7,000 DK, $9,300 FD) has really stepped up for TSM in their last two games. He had a perfect score line of 11/0/8 in his games against Golden Guardians and Team Liquid which included a quadra kill on Azir. PowerOfEvil has benefitted from the new mid lane meta being exclusively control mages and teamfighting, PowerOfEvil’s two greatest strengths. PowerOfEvil is just a better version of his opponent, Insanity. PowerOfEvil makes less mistakes and has a better grasp on these mages which gives TSM the edge against Immortals.
Huhi ($5,000 DK, $6,300 FD) is another player with insane value for Sunday’s matches. He’s listed as the cheapest support on FanDuel and fifth cheapest on DraftKings. The 100 Thieves bot lane has really stepped up this season, challenging for the best bot lane in the LCS. Huhi has been vital on the engages for 100 Thieves, their biggest strength being their early game aggressive plays. 100 Thieves against Team Liquid will be a fantastic matchup, specifically in the bot lane. Both bot lanes are just below Cloud9’s level and will look to take over the other. Expect Huhi to be the center of attention in Sunday’s match of the day.
