Welcome back. Today’s slate has ten games on DK, fourteen on FD. The teams with the highest implied runs scored totals tonight are the White Sox, Red Sox, and the Nationals, so keep them in mind when picking players. We will keep you abreast of the juiciest matchups and make sure you know who to keep your eye on. It is Sunday, so the main slate today starts at 1 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Today’s free pick comes from the Cincinnati Reds. Jesse Winker ($4,100 on DK, $2,900 on FD). In the last three days, Winker has crushed right-handed pitching, with a 1.200 SLG in that time, including three home runs and two doubles. He is priced in a way that should allow you to get him into your line-ups with ease.

Pitching DFS Picks for August 30, 2020

We are going to look to the Rays this afternoon for pitching. Blake Snell ($9,200 on DK, $9,400 on FD) will face a Marlins team that has the lowest on-base percentage plus slugging percentage (OPS) in MLB over the last three weeks against left-handed pitching. In addition to that, the Marlins have struck out in nearly 1/3rd of those at-bats. Snell is currently striking out 1/3rd of the batters he faces so this should be a great matchup for him today.

Our second pitching choice today is Framber Valdez ($8,000 on DK, $9,900 on FD) of the Houston Astros. In Valdez’s last start against the Athletics, he went seven innings, striking out nine batters, and giving up just one run. He is also coming off an eleven strikeout performance against the Angels. I look for another strong start from him today.

Infield DFS Picks for August 30, 2020

Trea Turner ($5,400 on DK, $3,900 on FD) We are going to stick with the red-hot Turner today. As expected he had no issues yesterday, and I don’t expect him to struggle today either going against Zack Godley of the Red Sox, who has done anything put provide his namesake. Turner has a 1.200 SLG since Thursday and hits in 80 percent of his at-bats in that time.

If you are looking for a value play today, Ryan O’Hearn ($2,700 on DK, $2,400 on FD) isn’t a bad way to go. O’Hearn has hits in three of his last four games, with 2 multi-hit games, and 2 home runs.  He will be facing Dane Dunning and the White Sox today. Dunning in his first start last week gave up three runs in just 4.1 innings, including a home run.

Outfield DFS Picks for August 30, 2020

Luis Robert ($4,700 on DK, $3,200 on FD) has been crushing left-handed pitching in the last few days and pitching in general. He has multi-hit games in three of these last four games, with a home run coming off a lefty. Robert isn’t cheap, but with the White Sox facing a starter with nearly a six ERA, he could definitely be worth it.

Nick Castellanos ($4,700 on DK, $3,900 on FD) is another outfield today that you will need to pay up for, but the upside is certainly there. The Reds are facing Tyler Chatwood of the Cubs, who hasn’t made it out of the third inning in each of his last two starts. Castellanos has hits in each of his last five games and could be inline to have a big game today.
