I know COVID-19 is supposed to be over but it isn’t for our staff so I am stepping in to do a late NHL DFS advice article for you. As a life-long Flyers fan who moved away from Philly 28 plus years ago, I can safely tell you that you are good to bet against this team for the rest of the year but there are some gems that are shining too and they are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

Here’s a heated lineup For DFS Hockey 3/28/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Joel Farabee is likely going to get a look at 1C tonight in Philly. They are scoring now more with Giroux gone. At $3,800, he is a GPP-type guy.

Cale Makar is a lock for the Norris – sorry Roman. This guy is so good and scores better than most forwards every night. At $7,500 he’s expensive. My subscribers get to see who I am pairing with him who offsets the cost yet is a top-2 d-man.

M.A. Fleury is a good pick because I don’t think the Flyers can bet many NHL teams at this stage of trades and injuries. He’s the second most expensive guy on the board but he’s got a likely W and that’s worth points.

• A dirt cheap D-man getting TOP playing time. Think: flame logo.
• Another forward on a crap team that is also dirt cheap who is getting me points.
• The center who will sign in Philly next year to replace Giroux but he might just get himself a ring first.
• Much more.

Naz Kardi is having one hell of a year and he’s my bet to replace Giroux in Philly next year. For now, even as a 2C – he is DFS gold. I like his value even though he isn’t too low in price. I put him with one of the super star Pen centers for a nice 1-2 punch.

Owen Tippett seems like a man with a new lease on life since being traded from Florida. Giroux is a steal at around $5,100 when he plays but at $2,500 – Tippett is scoring and on the cheap. Tonight is a GPP night for me with these guys in.

Tyler Toffoli is an offensive powerhouse and now on a much improved Calgary team. I liked him at $4,300 but looked at Cam Atkinson for a few hundred bucks more – which I had to spend but I think even I need to limit my Flyers exposure.

This core lineup allows for some big ticket additional plays. I took Kirril Kaprizov at $7,700 but there were many other options up in that world. You could skimp a little here and pull out Cam York for a more proven d-man. You’ve got lots of options.
