There are nine NBA games for us to break down tonight, as there is a lot to like here across the slate. Our interest is spread out across the nine games here, as there is no one team we are looking to for three or four guys. We are going to be constructing a stars and scrubs style lineup tonight, as we have some nice priorities at the top and bottom ends of the slate.

The Orlando Magic look good tonight, as they are priced fair in a great matchup against the Houston Rockets. Cole Anthony always offers a lot of upside, so we really like him with the dream matchup. He is only $7,000 tonight, and we know he can easily go over 40 FPTS on a good night. The guards are stacked tonight, but Anthony is among our top priorities.
Luke Kennard was one of the big stars in Saturday’s three-point contest, but we love him tonight for this low price tag. The Clippers do not have a lot of options right now, so he should be in for some solid floor time. He is averaging over 22 FPTS on the season and coming in at only $4,000 here. Kennard always has a low floor because of his reliance on hitting jumpers, but at this price his upside is great if he can go for a good shooting night.
Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 2/25/22 (using DraftKings Values)
It is a big day for NBA fans, as we will finally see James Harden take the court with the Philadelphia 76ers. Although this promises to be some exciting basketball, it is terrible for the DFS production of the other Sixers. Tyrese Maxey is an easy fade for us, as he is all the way up to $6,400 with the role he was playing before the trade. Maxey is going to do a lot less as Harden will have the ball in his hands, so we can’t expect him to keep up this production.

Point Guard
Tyler Herro – ($5,900 DK) Tyler Herro was dealing with some minor injuries that impacted his floor time before the All-star break. However, we expect him to be fine after a week off. Herro is priced at $5,900 tonight, and we know the opportunity to roster him under $6,000 is very rare. He is a fantastic upside guy, as he always takes massive usage when he is healthy. Averaging 33.5 FPTS on the season, this price tag on Herro speaks for itself here.
Shooting Guard
Anthony Edwards – ($7,400 DK) Edwards was popular yesterday, and he let a lot of people down with only 23 FPTS. However, we do not expect Edwards to repeat his 1/11 shooting performance, as he is averaging 37.6 FPTS on the season. Edwards has a ton of upside, which always makes him a priority for tournaments. We expect him to go under-owned due to his production last night, which makes this a great opportunity to beat the field.
Cameron Johnson – ($4,800 DK) Everyone did a little bit more from the Suns last night, as there were some extra responsibilities on the table with Chris Paul sidelined. Johnson played 31 minutes, and he did a little bit of everything to go for 37 FPTS. He would have been priced up had this not been a back-to-back, so he is certainly too cheap at $4,800. The Suns have another easy matchup against the Pelicans tonight, and Johnson is our favorite option.
Wendell Carter Jr. – ($7,400 DK) As we mentioned, there is a lot to like from Orlando with this matchup against the Rockets. Houston plays at a fast pace, and they are pitiful defensively. Carter was on fire coming into the all-star break, as he is averaging 44 FPTS over the past ten days. He is another high-upside guy, and there will be a huge opportunity for him to show it with this matchup.
Mo Bamba – ($4,500 DK) Bamba has been one of the least consistent producers over the past month, which is not necessarily a bad thing for DFS. Bamba is coming in at only $4,500 here, and we know he has the upside to smash over 40 FPTS. He is often played off the floor by good teams, which is not a huge concern against Houston. He looks great in this matchup, and a big night from Bamba is always a must-have for GPPs.
General strategy
With nine games we are always going to have an overwhelming amount of options, so we always focus on our priorities for Cash games vs. GPPs. For Cash games, we are going to get to a lot of Bamba, Anthony, Johnson, Devin Booker, and Luka Doncic as those guys make a great high-value core. For tournaments, everyone we wrote about is a priority, and we are happier taking more shots on New York Knicks like Alec Burks and RJ Barrett. Good luck tonight and have some fun with this one.
