We have a seven-game NBA DFS slate to break down for tonight, as there is a lot to like here. We must start with the Indiana Pacers, who are dealing with some major injuries here. A few guys are being asked to take on massive roles out of nowhere, so we will be getting to a few Pacers here. We also like getting back to the Clippers, who do not have a lot of options at the offensive end. This is going to be a stars and scrubs slate for us, as we have some great salary savers.

As we mentioned the Indiana Pacers are dealing with a lot of injuries here, as Chris Duarte was also added to the sideline last game. Lance Stephenson came in and played 32 minutes in Duarte’s absence, and he was great with 32.8 FPTS. Stephenson is a high upside guy, and we expect the opportunity to hold up for him until Duarte returns. He is too cheap for this situation at $4,000, and a budget priority for us.
Joel Embiid has been playing at a higher level than anyone else in the NBA lately, as he continues to hedge further ahead in the MVP race. His DFS production has been awe-inspiring, so this $11,600 price is quite the discount. Embiid is averaging over 66 FPTS across the past ten days, as he has been showing unparalleled upside for a little while now. Embiid had a tough matchup in the last game against the Cavaliers, and he tore them to shreds with an 83 FPT triple double. The Celtics frontcourt has no hope of slowing him down and we are betting on another monster night.
Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 2/15/22 (using DraftKings Values)
A $9,800 Karl-Anthony Towns is not a bad play with a matchup against Charlotte, but he is a fade for us tonight relative to the other options available. This price is a little too expensive for Towns, as we can get to much better producers like Embiid or Luka Doncic for not much more.
Here Is What Your Get If You Subscribe For $15 Per Month or $99 For The Year…
• A star guard who is too cheap tonight.
• The rest of our priorities from Indiana.
• A cheap center with massive upside.
• Some key questionable tags to keep an eye on.
Point Guard
Kyle Lowry – ($6,400 DK) Lowry is not asked to take over on the offensive end every night for the Heat, so he has not been the most consistent DFS producer this year. However, he is still averaging 34.5 FPTS on the season while showing some great upside. Lowry showed that upside a few games ago with a massive triple-double. Tyler Herro is out tonight, so Lowry should have to take on a solid workload.
Shooting Guard
Buddy Hield – ($6,000 DK) Hield has played two games in a Pacers uniform, and he has taken a massive role in both of those games. He played 40 minutes in both, shooting 17 and 19 attempts respectively. Hield went over 40 FPTS in the first game, and he managed to go for 28 FPTS despite shooting 1 of 13 from three last game. Hield has massive upside with the usage he is taking, and he looks even better with Duarte sidelined.
Terance Mann – ($4,600 DK) Mann was a priority for us last night and he absolutely crushed. He played 39 minutes and exploded for 46.25 FPTS. He has been on fire for the past five games, and his role over the past two with Norman Powell sidelined has been immense. Mann is a high-usage guy, and the Clippers do not have many options right now. He should be way more expensive, as this $4,600 priority makes him an easy priority.
Oshae Brissett – ($5,400 DK) The Pacers have played two games since trading away franchise cornerstone Domantas Sabonis. Brissett has started both games and played over 36 minutes in each of them. He has gone well over 40 FPTS in both opportunities without Sabonis, and the Pacers have even fewer options without Duarte. Brissett is far too cheap, as he is another Pacer we are all over tonight.
Clint Capela – ($5,300 DK) John Collins remains sidelined for the Hawks, so Atlanta looks solid for value. Our interest starts with Capela, who has been priced down dramatically over the past few weeks. Capela played over 30 minutes with Collins out last time, which we expect to see again tonight. He has been picking up his production lately, and it seems this $5,300 price tag won’t last long.
General strategy
We have a few key questionable tags to discuss here, starting with Ja Morant. Morant does everything for Memphis, so his absence would create a huge opportunity for a few Grizzlies. Desmond Bane, Tyus Jones, and De’Anthony Melton all look great if Morant sits. We are also eager to find out if Jimmy Butler is going to play, as the Heat are already missing Herro. Lowry looks even better if Butler sits, while guys like Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and Bam Adebayo become strong plays as well. Good luck tonight and keep an eye out for our key news.
