Speaking of Nathan MacKinnon, he is back from a nasty injury that left his face an absolute mess. It is a miracle of sport science that he is back on the ice again so soon. We are expecting he will be rocking the full face guard tonight. We are going to pass for one game just to make sure he is where he needs to be and instead take Gabriel Landeskog, the captain. He is a steal at that price and is a guy who has 20 goals and 26 assists on the season. He is absolutely elite and even if Big Mac does in fact go off tonight, Landeskog will be at that party.

Mikko Rantanen finishes up that top line in Colorado and we are taking him second just as a price balancing technique. He may actually deserve to be the captain of your showdown squad today being top ten in scoring in the entire league.
We are not going to be taking any goalies today as both teams are pretty heavy offensively. Since everything is Flex in showdown mode, we do not strictly have to take a defenseman but why not grab Cale Makar? The kid is an absolute beast and is the talk of the town.
We do want to grab a couple Dallas guys and one of our big decisions will be between Jamie Bennand Esa Lindell. Lindy is a solid d-man and will be more of a high floor peripheral guy and will be a little more consistent. If you are looking to roll the dice a bit, then Benn is definitely at higher chance of scoring you a goal or two.
The secret sauce today is either Jacob Peterson or Alexander Radulov. They are the fourth line in Dallas but they have been making some noise recently. Check out Peterson’s last ten games. We are not even sure who he is, but he is on our radar now.
Taking one of them all of a sudden opens up all the monies for the likes of Nazem Kadri or Darcy Kuemper if you are so bold.
