There are seven games on tonight’s slate, and we have a lot to break down for this one. The first thing we must mention is the questionable tags, as we don’t know if guys are going to be playing across the slate. Our free content for today will focus on two picks that look great with the news we have now, while our premium content will focus on a few potential priorities if more injury news breaks.

Cole Anthony has been showing a ton of Variance in his DFS production, as we can expect him to finish anywhere between 30 and 50 FPTS. Anthony is priced toward the bottom end of his outcome spectrum, so he is going to be a big priority for us here. He has gone for 33 and 29 FPTS with awful shooting in the past two games, and he showed his upside with 52.5 FPTS in the game before that. The Magic have a nice matchup with the Bulls here, so we really like getting to Anthony.
Bradley Beal is going to be out for a few games, which means a lot of guys are going to have to step up for the Wizards. Kyle Kuzma is one of our favorite plays tonight, as at $7,400 he is already cheap for his production with Beal on the floor. Kuzma is averaging 39.6 FPTS over the past ten days, and he has shown fantastic upside when he gets hot. Kuzma typically sees higher usage when Beal is sidelined, so he could really explode in this spot.
Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 2/1/22 (using DraftKings Values)
Chris Paul has been one of the hottest players in the NBA lately, averaging over 54 FPTS across the past ten days. However, his price has risen drastically to $9,700. Paul is averaging 40.7 FPTS on the season, so anything over $9,000 is overpaying for him.
Here Is What Your Get If You Subscribe For $15 Per Month or $99 For The Year…
• A stud guard who looks fantastic tonight.
• A few priorities with big injuries on their teams.
• One cheap center who has been crushing lately.
• Some general strategy with all the questionable tags here.
Point Guard
Spencer Dinwiddie – ($5,900 DK) Dinwiddie is always the first guy we look at when Beal is sidelined, as he will have the ball in his hands more than any other Wizard. Dinwiddie has shown tremendous upside in opportunities without Beal throughout the season, with multiple 50-FPT games. Dinwiddie comes in at a fantastic price point of $5,900 tonight, so he is an absolute priority.
Shooting Guard
Jordan Poole – ($5,500 DK) Klay Thompson is going to be sidelined for tonight’s game for rest, so we expect to see Poole take on more minutes. He is too cheap tonight, as he has gone well over 30 FPTS in back-to-back games. The Warriors have a fantastic matchup against the fast-paced San Antonio Spurs tonight, so the upside on Poole is even better than usual. Poole checks every box in this spot, so he is another priority for us.
Deni Avdija – ($3,800 DK) A few of the Wizards rotation guys are very cheap tonight, so they look fantastic with Beal out. There is going to be a ton of extra usage on the table here, so guys like Avdija have much more upside than when everyone is healthy. Avdija is averaging 20.4 FPTS per game over the past ten days, and that was with Beal playing. He stands to play a few extra minutes here, and his usage should be a bit higher than normal.
Keldon Johnson – ($5,700 DK) Johnson is priced for his season average of 27.7 FPTS per game on the season. However, we are interested tonight as he has been on fire lately. He has scored over 30 FPTS in each of the past three games, with 33, 38, and 33.75 FPTS respectively. Dejounte Murray is currently questionable for the Spurs, and Johnson will become more of a priority if he sits.
Bismack Biyombo – ($5,500 DK) Biyombo has been playing a big role for the Suns lately, as most of their other big men are sidelined. He has scored over 25 FPTS in each of the last five games, with an upside as high as 51.25 FPTS in that span. With an average of 32 FPTS across the past ten days, Biyombo is just too cheap for a matchup against the Nets tonight.
General strategy
We want to take this opportunity to talk about all the key questionable tags across the slate. One piece of news we are eager to hear is if Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry remain out for Miami tonight. If they both end up sidelined again, the Heat are going to be one of our favorite sources of value. We are also waiting to see if James Harden will be good to go, which is huge because the Nets are already missing Kevin Durant. The last team we must talk about is the Spurs, who have key questionable tags in Murray and Jakob Poeltl. Spurs like Lonnie Walker IV and Devin Vassell look great if Murray sits.
