Choo choo. The Florida Panthers are not just a wagon right now they are a bullet train. Jump on board because this thing ain’t stopping. The newly minted Seattle Kraken are going to have their hands full tonight. On the other side of the tracks there is another freight train you may consider jumping on. The Los Angeles Kings have lost their last three but all to playoff guarantees. Just before that they had beaten both the Rangers and the Penguins. They finally get an easier contest and we expect them to tie the Devils to the tracks.

Jonathan Huberdeau has as nearly as many assists as games played. Pile on a goal at a rate better than one every three games and you have one of the top five scorers in the league. The race to 100 is on. His current pace puts him around 110 points on the season but he still has his work cut out for him. Will the Panthers dominance draw more attention from teams trying to make a name for themselves?
Sergei Bobrovski is certainly benefitting from a great team in front of him but he is also giving them a huge boost of confidence with how he has played this year. His numbers are beautiful and even though he is the most expensive goalie on the board it is hard to say no to the best cop in the force.
As much as we are tooting the Panther’s horn we are still aware there are other teams that have great players. Veteran Drew Doughty is leading a young team to the playoffs along with other long time legend Anze Kopitar. We are not specifically targeting Kopi today, but Raccoon Jesus is always worth a look as well.

Jordan Binnington most certainly loved watching his backup Ville Husso get a big win over the Kraken and is ready to rock against the Canucks. The Blues are firing on all cylinders and while they may not have the drawing power of Florida right now they are still a wagon. This is a team poised to make another deep run.
We are probably not going to be able to afford Aleksander Barkov today but we can make either Jack Hughes or Ryan O’Reilly work. We may not have faith in New Jersey on the whole but Hughes is magic and will still be giving it his all. O’Reilly was featured recently and our confidence has not wavered at all. A lot of that has to do with your next pick.
We have been sounding the horn that Brayden Schenn is back on track and he is cruising right now. Get on before his cost goes off the rails. Bundle and save with him and O’Reilly.
The weakness with the Kings right now is definitely their goaltending. Petersen has not lived up to expectations and Quick is falling apart fast. Both Yegor Sharangovich and Tomas Tatar will be looking to take full advantage of that tonight.
Philip Danault is having a much easier time in LA where there is not the same scrutiny as Montreal. He sits comfortably behind Kopitar on the depth chart and enjoys playing with up and coming wingers and is just a solid contributor overall.
Matt Roy is a nice complement for Doughty that is not going to get on the scoreboard but has been getting more shots and blocks than we first expected. For a few hundred bucks cheaper grab Artem Zub who sits behind Thomas Chabot on the Sens depth chart but who has been contributing in much the same way Roy is.
Is it Sunday already? Did you see that 49ers win?! More craziness abounds in the NFL today and we are ready to get rowdy with our buddies later. Go Bucs. You know where our Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) is. Make the most of the rest of your weekend and stay safe out there.
