Happy Holidays to one and all! Have a Blessed weekend filled with family and friends! Let’s check out this week’s high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks at wide receiver.
Cooper Kupp – ($9,100 DK, $9,800 FD) – Kupp is back as one of the most expensive receivers this week as he plays on Sunday (or at least we hope he doesn’t get COVID by then). Anyways, Kupp is playing on the road versus the Vikings. The Vikings rank DEAD LAST in giving up fantasy points to receivers. And we all know that Kupp has destroyed every team this year and this week should be no different as he averages 26.50 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent in those games. He’s a must-start this week.
Justin Jefferson – BEWARE – ($8,100 DK, $8,400 FD) – Jefferson is the third most expensive receiver this week and while his matchup on paper looks average (since the Rams defense is ranked 15th), the problem I have is that Jalen Ramsey will be on Jefferson like wrapping paper on Christmas presents. Based on Jefferson’s price tag and Ramsey, I’m going to look elsewhere for better values.

Best Value – WR – Laquan Treadwell – ($3,300 DK, $5,100 FD) – I usually don’t highlight the same player two weeks in a row, but when that player is successful and his price tag only changes by $200 and he has another great matchup, you leave him in. Treadwell is that guy as he and Trevor Lawrence are clicking in this offense with four straight Clutch Games. This week, they get the Jets on the road. I’d put him in again since you’re paying up for Kupp.
Best Mid-Value – WR – Amon-Ra St. Brown – ($5,600 DK, $6,500 FD) – Here’s another great value receiver who has quietly put up three straight Clutch Games. St. Brown and Goff have been in sync recently. This week, they get the Falcons on the road. The Falcons rank 28th in giving up fantasy points to receivers so far this year. I would certainly believe that this week St. Brown will earn his fourth straight Clutch Game and at this price, it’s an excellent value.
