It’s playoff time for the season-long players as we head into the Sunday slate for Week 15. So, let’s take a look at this week’s best picks at quarterback to help you win some cash for Week 15 and who to stay away from.
Kyler Murray – ($7,900 DK, $8,800 FD) – Murray is one of the most expensive quarterbacks this week and is worth it. Murray gets the Lions on the road this week. The Lions are actually ranked in the Top 10 in giving up the fewest points to quarterbacks. This is mostly because the Lions suck against the run and combined with their terrible offense, most teams don’t need to throw the ball as much. Murray does fairly well on the road versus a good defense by averaging 20.31 fantasy points per game and has been 67 percent consistent in those games. I believe he will still be worth it this week.
Josh Allen – BEWARE – ($8,100 DK, $8,700 FD) – First off, one of the reasons that Allen is here is due to his sprained foot that occurred last week. Even if he does start, he probably won’t be running very much this week. Second, Allen is going against a tough defense at home versus Carolina. The Panthers rank third in giving up the fewest points to quarterbacks. Allen has not fared well in these matchups as he has only been averaging 18.85 fantasy points per game and has been 38 percent consistent in those games. I’ll pass on him this week.

Best Value QB – Ben Roethlisberger – ($5,600 DK, $6,600 FD) – Ben has been so bad this year, that his price tag is still pretty cheap even though he’s been 75 percent consistent over the past four weeks. This week he has another great matchup playing against the Titans. The Titans rank 27th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. Ben historically has done well when playing at home versus a bad defense by averaging 19.70 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent in those games. At this price, it’s hard not to start him.
Best Mid-Value QB – Tua Tagovailoa – ($5,700 DK, $7,400 FD) – Tua is not really a mid-range value, he’s only $100 more expensive than Ben on DraftKings. However, it’s tough to pass on Tua this week as he battles the Jets at home. They rank 25th in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Tua played against the Jets in Week 11 and scored 21.25 fantasy points. I can easily see him meeting or exceeding that number this week.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
