The Miami D came through for us again this week, not for another 28 FPTS, but enough to save face. They were behind the paywall where our top picks usually are. The Patriots, another lock, played Monday night and are also on bye. This week we will need to pivot, can’t use the fish again since they are on bye. But there are many ways to attack as always. We are in Week 14 already, and we should all know by now which teams to attack on defense. Who can force turnovers and score touchdowns against an opposing offense? Which team will allow the fewest points? Possibly the.…
Los Angeles Chargers ($4,300 DK/$4,300 FD) Are the most expensive on DK, but priced down on FanDuel. They had a huge day in Cincinnati last week and put up 20, forcing a fumble and running it back for a touchdown with two picks. Well, they have the Giants at home on Sunday, who may be rolling out their third string quarterback without any of their starting wide receivers. If we pay up on D, the Bolts are in the mix.

Denver Broncos ($3,800 DK/$4,400 FD) At home for the Lions, quarterback Jared Goff will try to duplicate his winning effort against Minnesota but not on defensive rookie corner Patrick Surtain II’s watch. Denver have pulverized inferior teams this season. The Jets, Giants, and Jaguars all were manhandled by the Broncos earlier in the year. Chalk up another.
New Orleans Saints ($3,700 DK/$5,000 FD) Are priced way up on FanDuel, and rightly so because they get the turnover prone Jets. The Saints have lost five straight and will take their frustrations out this weekend on the road at MetLife Stadium. Cam Jordan and the Saints heavy pass rush will be all over Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson this Sunday.
Cleveland Browns ($2,700 DK/$4,100 FD) will host the Ravens coming off their bye week. In their first meeting they picked off Lamar Jackson four times, who has hit a brick wall offensively. The Browns suffered a speculative loss to Baltimore from a few bad penalty calls two weeks ago and are looking for payback. Baltimore’s offensive line, running backs, and now secondary have all suffered season ending injuries, Cleveland is a nice cheap flier to take for a defense this week.

New York Giants ($2,300 DK/$3,800 FD) While the Giants have been beaten up all year to injury, the Chargers have been bitten by the COVID bug. Stud receiver Keenan Allen tested positive on Tuesday with fellow receiver Mike Williams deemed close contact. Also running back Austin Ekeler has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury, so if all three or even just two are ruled out, the Chargers will be short handed on offense, and the Giants will be a very sneaky play. So keep a close watch on the final reports this weekend.
