There are some excellent values this week for running backs in DFS! Find out here as we break down the winners and losers in DFS for Week 14!
Austin Ekeler – ($8,300 DK, $9,200 FD) – With Jonathan Taylor on a bye this week, Ekeler is back as the most expensive option at running back. He’s definitely worth it this week as he takes on the Giants who rank 26th in giving up fantasy points to running backs. Ekeler does extremely well when playing at home versus a bad defense by averaging 26.33 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent in those game scenarios. He’s a must-start this week.
Cordarelle Patterson – BEWARE – ($6,900 DK, $7,800 FD) – Patterson has been amazing this year in his role with the Falcons. However, he has struggled on the road versus a good defense. This week, he gets the Panthers who rank second in giving up the fewest fantasy points to running backs so far this year. Patterson has only averaged 12.25 fantasy points per game and is only 50 percent consistent in that game scenario. I’ll pass on him for this week.

Best Value – RB – Javonte Williams – ($5,900 DK, $6,700 FD) – With the Broncos giving the cowbell role to Williams, his value isn’t going to stay this low for very long. So, start him this week as he gets the Lions who rank 29th in giving up fantasy points to running backs so far this season. He scored 26.80 fantasy points last week and could surpass that this week. Get him in your lineup!
Best Mid-Value – RB – Saquon Barkley – ($6,000 DK, $7,300 FD) – I know that Saquon hasn’t really done much this year but this week could be the breakout week. The Giants get the Chargers who rank 25th in giving up fantasy points to running backs and they are playing in Los Angeles, not New York. When playing on the road, Barkley has averaged 30.03 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent over the past few seasons. It’s worth the risk!
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
