The season-long playoffs are getting closer for most of you as we head into the Sunday slate for Week 14. So, let’s take a look at this week’s best picks at quarterback to help you win some cash for Week 14 and who to stay away from.
Patrick Mahomes – ($8,000 DK, $8,500 FD) – Mahomes is back as one of the most expensive options this week, and for good reason, he plays the Raiders. The Raiders rank 23rd in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. As I’m sure you would expect, Mahomes has a field day when playing at home versus a bad defense as he averages 30.75 fantasy points per game and has a 100 percent consistency in those games. He’s worth paying up for this week!
Tom Brady – BEWARE – ($7,600 DK, $8,200 FD) – Brady is having an amazing season for the Bucs. However, he does have a kryptonite game scenario and that is playing at home versus a good defense. This week, he gets the Bills at home who rank first in giving up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. Since Brady is one of the top three most expensive quarterbacks this week has only averaged 19.30 fantasy points per game and is only 33 percent consistent, I’ll pass.

Best Value QB – Trevor Lawrence – ($5,100 DK, $6,300 FD) – The bargains are slim, but there is one cheap quarterback this week worth playing and that is Trevor Lawrence. One of Lawrence’s best games of the season was in Week 5 when he put up 22.72 fantasy points and guess who he played? The Titans. Guess who he plays this week? The Titans. At only $5,100 on DraftKings this week, it’s tough to pass on this value.
Best Mid-Value QB – Russell Wilson – ($6,600 DK, $7,500 FD) – Wilson has a great matchup this week versus the Texans. The Texans are ranked as an average defense so far this season in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. Wilson has done very well in those game scenarios by averaging 25.18 fantasy points per game. He’s an excellent value this week.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
