There are some other options near the top of the price tag list this week. Value or not? Let’s take a look at the tight ends. We have some high-end picks, best values, and some buyer beware picks.
George Kittle – ($5,900 DK, $6,300 FD) – Kittle is one of the most expensive tight ends on both sites this week. Kittle has a great matchup this week as the 49ers play their rival Seahawks on the road. The Seahawks rank 24th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends. Kittle has done very well on the road versus a bad defense by averaging 18.10 fantasy points per game and has been 100 percent consistent. He’s definitely worth paying up for.
Mark Andrews – BEWARE – ($6,000 DK, $7,200 FD) – Andrews is one of the more consistent tight ends this season, but this week is a tough game for him as they take on the Steelers on the road. The Steelers are ranked 10th in giving up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season. Andrews has struggled when playing away versus a good defense by averaging 7.30 fantasy points per game and has only been 33 percent consistent.

• You will see two players who we love but we are shading this week. We will explain exactly why and hope they still love us next week.
Best Value – TE – Logan Thomas – ($4,000 DK, $5,600 FD) – Bargains are hard to find unless a player is coming back from injury. Thomas had his first game back this past week since Week 4. He had six targets and was very involved with 79 percent of the snaps. This week, he plays against the Raiders on the road. The Raiders rank 31st in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this year. Thomas is an excellent value for this week.
Best Mid-Value – TE – Pat Freiermuth – ($4,200 DK, $5,400 FD) – If you have a few hundred extra dollars of salary, you can also pivot towards Freiermuth this week. He’s been red hot as evident by his 83 percent consistency over the last six weeks. This week he gets the terrible Ravens who rank 30th in giving up fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. I would definitely put him in all of my DFS lineups this week.
Overall, this week we are seeing some potentially huge values but a few people to stay away from that we normally give a full endorsement.
