The Seahawks are in the nation’s capitol tonight to play the Football Team in a must win situation to stay in the playoff race. Russell Wilson is in a get right game going up against the worst defense in the league to opposing quarterbacks. Since returning he has lost the last two games and has struggled on the field, throwing no touchdowns and two interceptions.
Washington’s Taylor Heinicke on the other hand has blossomed into a legit starting quarterback in the NFL. The second year signal caller has shown poise in the pocket, throwing for three touchdowns in the win over Carolina last week.
Here’s a look at a Monday Night Showdown Core (SEA @ WFT) – Week 12 (using DraftKings Values)

Captain/MVP:
DK Metcalf ($13,200 DK/$13,500) Has his best matchup of the year, and can potentially put up huge numbers tonight against this weak Washington secondary. In two games versus shaky secondaries of Minnesota and Jacksonville he produced over 20 fpts.
Who to Fade:
Curtis Samuel ($5,000 DK/$8,000 FD) May suit up tonight, but has been injury prone for the entire season, he’s not worth taking a risk on except in a GPP format.
Other Studs We Like:
Tyler Lockett ($10,200 DK/$12,500 FD) We absolutely need to consider the opposite side of DK Metcalf, who has the capability as well to exploit Washington’s terrible coverage of the wide receiver position
Terry McLaurin ($10,600 DK/$14,000 FD) Is WFT’s diamond in the rough, who has been the focal point of their offense this season, averaging over 13 yards per catch with 5 touchdowns.
Antonio Gibson ($8,600 DK/$12,000 FD) Seattle has been unable to stop the run all year long, allowing four yards per carry and nine touchdowns to running backs. Gibson has been able to shake his nagging shin injury as he saw 19 carries in their win last week at Carolina.
DeeJay Dallas ($5,200 DK/$9,500 FD) With Seattle’s backfield in shambles and starter Alex Collins’ lack of production, Dallas will be given some opportunity tonight, as he already displayed his ability to catch and burst of speed with the football.
Value Plays:
Logan Thomas ($4,800 DK/$10,500 FD) Is back from IR and has looked great in practice as per reports. Fill in tight end Ricky Seals-Jones is listed as doubtful, so Thomas will have plenty of volume in Washington’s tight end friendly offense.
Will Dissly ($600 DK/$6,500 FD) Seattle’s back up tight end has seen a few looks from Russell Wilson the past few weeks. If he can get us a few points again we are in good shape.
Dee Eskeridge ($200 DK/$6,000 FD) The Seattle rookie wideout has been back a couple weeks from IR and has seen his snaps increase to 22 percent. Third option Freddie Swain has disappeared, giving Eskeridge an opportunity to get on the field. He is priced at minimum and well worth rostering.
General Strategy:
Both teams struggle to play defense, so this game has an outlier to be high scoring. It is a bit chilly in the north east today, but Seattle is no stranger to the bad weather. Try to fit both quarterbacks in your lineups too, there are a number of players who are very underpriced who can allow it to be made. Pivoting from Metcalf to Lockett or McLaurin and pairing with their quarterback is totally fine too.
Now go and win with your lineup and let us know how you did.
