We have a seven game NBA DFS slate to breakdown for tonight, and its looking like the toughest slate we have seen in a few days. The value isn’t quite as in your face tonight, as we don’t have tons of injuries creating obvious plays. With that said, we still have more then enough to work with across seven games, and we have a core of plays that we really like for this one. Our core plays focus on two plays that we are going to play a ton of in any contest. We will also go over one star we are looking to fade on tonight’s slate. In our premium content we focus on more priorities, as well as some guys that look especially good in Cash or Tournaments.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 11/27/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardK. Porter Jr. $5,800
Shooting Guard
Small Forward
Power ForwardW. Carter Jr. $5,800
Center
Guard
Forward
Utility

Kevin Porter Jr. came back from injury last game, but he did not miss a beat as he scored 35 FPTS in 37 minutes, we saw KPJ take on solid usage as always, and he showed his hand as a playmaker. Porter looks fantastic at $5,800, as he can easily go for big games. He has scored over 30 FPTS in four of the past five games he’s played. We also know that Jalen Green is out for tonight’s slate, which should be great for Porters usage in this spot. With a nice matchup against the Hornets, its hard not betting on a good game at this price.

Wendell Carter Jr. was very high owned last night, and those who faded him paid the price. Carter exploded for 48 FPTS last time out, and although we don’t expect to see that again he is still too cheap at $5,800. If Cole Anthony remains out that is a definite plus for Carters usage, but we are happy getting to him either way. Carter is going to be very high owned in this spot, but we are going to put him in as a chalky play and get different elsewhere.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 11/27/21 (using DraftKings Values)

We have already faded him a few times recently, but there is not much to like about Kevin Durant tonight. Durant is too expensive at $10,800, as he has been too expensive for over a month. He does not have great upside playing alongside James Harden, as he hasn’t hit the 60 FPTS mark since one of the first games of the season. He is averaging 39.2 FPTS across the past ten games, and the Suns are a terrible matchup. Durant has been an easy fade for us for a while not and its worked out, as he remains for a fade for us tonight.

Now what do you get if you sign up now for $99?
• A star point guard who has doing everything offensively for his team.
• A budget play who has been showing some upside lately.
• A value forward who will be a cash staple for us tonight.
• One stud center with a fantastic matchup.

Point Guard

Darius Garland – PG ($7,600 DK) Garland is more expensive here then where we are used to rostering him, but with the injury to Collin Sexton we have seen him take on a massive role. Garland has put up 26, 22, 27, and 19 shot attempts in his past four games, and we have seen him show upside north of 45 FPTS in that time. Garland can go off in this Orlando matchup, and his floor is a lot better when he gets this much usage.

Shooting Guard

Patty Mills  ($5,000 DK) Mills has been fantastic since Joe Harris went down with injury. He has scored over 25 FPTS in five of six of the games without Harris, and he gone for over 29 FPTS in four of the six. While Harris remains sidelined for tonight, we are going right back to Mills for value. Mills has gotten more expensive over the last few weeks, but he is still clearly too cheap for how he has played without Harris.

Small Forward

Cam Reddish  ($3,700 DK) Reddish has became a very intriguing value, as his price has dropped to near minimum and he can have solid games. The minutes have been somewhat consistent lately for Reddish, who as he has played over 22 in each of the last five games. He is averaging 23.5 FPTs over the last five games, and he is showing a lot of 25-30 FPT upside right now. At this price, Reddish can easily go for a great night.

Power Forward

Franz Wagner  ($4,500 DK) As the price rises on Wagner, the value we are getting in this spot slowly begins to decrease. With that said, Wagner is still too cheap at $4,500. We like getting back to him for value here, as he fits so easily into either forward spot. He usually plays around 30 minutes in close games, and he has been productive over the past few weeks. We don’t have a ton of strong budget plays tonight, so Wagner stands out at this price point.

Center

Deandre Ayton– ($7,200 DK) The stud centers don’t look great on tonight’s slate, but we really like getting to Ayton here. The Suns have a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who are exceptionally weak at stopping centers inside. Ayton should be able to crush against smaller big men in this matchup, and we know he has great upside when he puts together a big scoring and rebounding night.

General strategy

The two plays that really stand out as locks here are Porter and Carter, as they are both guys who can go for 40 or more FPTS in this spot at sub $6,000 price tags. For Cash games tonight we like using Wagner, Mills, Ayton and Luka Doncic as a spend up option. We are going to use a lot of Reddish for value in tournaments, as well as a lot of LaMelo Ball at the top end. Keep an eye out for news here, as one unexpected injury makes one team the absolute priority on a slate like this.
