What a game the Ottawa Senators gave to the Colorado Avalanche. They put five up on Kuemper, causing him to get pulled, but they ended up letting seven in of their own and lost the game. Classic sickos. At the very least they convinced us to give them the benefit of the doubt and we will be highlighting a couple of them the next time they play. Until then, the Lightning, Flames and Oilers are your best bets tonight so that is where we will start you off.

It’s difficult not to go after a goalie who easily has the most shutouts this year against the Chicago Blackhawks. Jakob Markstrom might low-key be a frontrunner for the Vezina if he keeps up this production. Can he though? We went after Darcy Kuemper yesterday and he got yoinked, though did not end up with a loss. Goalies are voodoo.
As usual we are going to do our best to afford you the Golden Duo. For a middle of the road center that you can swap out for one of the cheat codes, we are going after Elias Lindholm. He is on a five game point streak and is one of the most consistent forwards in the league.
Darnell Nurse will be missing some time due to a broken finger sustained during the Winnipeg Jets game. That is a bummer, but we cannot do anything about it other than go after his replacement. Evan Bouchard just got himself a short handed assist and is going to slurp up all the power play time left in Nurse’s absence. Easy value.

Speaking of short handed goals, Andrew Mangiapane scored one against the Boston Bruins on Sunday. Is his shooting percentage of 30% sustainable? Absolutely not. But he is hot right now and for that price a guy that has 15 goals on the season is worth keeping until he cools off.
Both Kailer Yamamoto and Alex Barre-Boulet are less than $3,000. That will bring your budget up fast. ABB is now top line in Tampa with Steven Stamkos as his center while Brayden Point recovers from injury. Yamamoto is up on the second line with Draisaitl and we have a feeling he is going to pick up his scoring pace. He is another player who recently got a shorthanded goal! I guess we have a type today.
There is an interesting choice to be made for your second defenseman. You should be able to afford a very high quality guy and we are keying in on Miro Heiskanen and Tyson Barrie. Barrie is a nice stack with Bouchard because he could always sneak in and take some of that power play time. Heiskanen is still the clear number one in Dallas getting around 24 minutes of ice time per night. What a beast.
You could just stop there and put Barrie in your utility spot, but we have another couple wingers we wanted to highlight that you could toss in there. Ondre Palat is always someone we have in our back pocket, as he has been top line in Tampa for a long time. If you are feeling them tonight then stack him with Barre-Boulet. Claude Giroux continues to be a fantastic player every year and if you think that Philly is going to upset Tampa then he will be the one to do the damage.
Did you take Granlund last night? Solid day for a name you do not hear often. Here is the usual Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) rep and we are out for the day! Does Boston have any good tacos? Let’s find out!
