Karl Anthony Towns DFS
LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 01: Minnesota Timberwolves Center Karl-Anthony Towns (32) backs down Los Angeles Clippers Forward Maurice Harkless (11) during a NBA game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers on February 1, 2020 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA. We have a massive ten game NBA DFS slate to breakdown for tonight, and there is a lot to talk about for this one. At first glance we tremendous value here, as there are quite a few plays under $5,000 that really stand out. The studs are a little bit less enticing tonight, however there is a lot of value from some guys who have been priced down after a few bad games. We are waiting on some key news for this one, as a few big names are already questionable. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the key piece of news we are waiting on tonight as the Thunder will be our core focus if he sits. Our free content for the day will discuss two core plays with the news we have now, as well as one fade who we are not paying up for tonight. In our premium content we will focus on priorities if SGA and a few other key guys end up sitting.

Here’s Two Core Plays For DFS Basketball 11/22/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point Guard
Shooting Guard
Small ForwardD. Bembry $5,600
Power Forward
CenterK. Towns $9,500
Guard
Forward
Utility

We have a lot of value we like in the $4,000 to $5,000 range tonight, but we want to get to one guy closer to the minimum price to make it easier to spend up elsewhere. Deandre Bembry is very enticing here at $3,100, as this Nets team is super gutted without Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris and now Bruce BrownBembry should play well over 30 minutes here as we know he can see a ton of floor time as a forward for this team. Bembry is not a good per minute producer, but we really don’t need him to do anything crazy with all the minutes he should play at this price.

We are yet to discuss Karl-Anthony Towns this season as he has been priced up too close to top end options like Nikola Jokic. However, towns is only $9,500 for tonight, which is cheap for his upside. Towns has been a little bit inconsistent this season, leading to his 45.2 FPTS per game. However, we know Towns can easily go for 60 FPTS, and his upside is some of the best on this slate. If Towns goes for a big game here, he will allow you to bring some huge upside into your lineup.

Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 11/22/21 (using DraftKings Values)

One stud we have been getting a lot of lately has been Jayson Tatum, who is priced at $10,100 on tonight’s slate. Tatum has been a priority as we always expect him to take higher usage when Jaylen Brown has been off the floor. However, Brown is probable to return from an extended absence tonight, and Tatum’s price is adjusted to Browns absence. Tatum will also likely still have some popularity as he has been good lately. We are happy looking elsewhere tonight, as Tatum is a lot less enticing then he was last slate.

Now what do you get if you sign up now for $99?
• A cheap guard from Brooklyn who has been playing a massive role.
• A stud forward who has been drastically priced down.
• A superstar who stands out as the best producer on the slate.
• One cheap big who continues to see a ton of floor time.

Point Guard`

Patty Mills – PG ($4,500 DK) The Brooklyn Nets have really been relying on Mills since Harris went down four games ago. Mills has played over 30 minutes in each of the last four outings, in which he scored 38.5, 19.5, 29.5, and 34.5 FPTS respectively. Mills has been taking on a huge role, and he looks even better with Brown out. Mills has some solid upside as he has been taking a lot of shots, and he is still too cheap for his floor here.

Shooting Guard

Desmond Bane  ($4,900 DK) The Grizzlies are pretty gutted here as we know that De’Anthony Melton and Dillon Brooks will remain out for the Memphis Grizzlies. Bane is going to start here, and we expect to be one of the highest usage guys left for Memphis. He managed to go for 29.25 FPTS in a blowout last time, and he could easily play close to 40 minutes in a competitive game. Bane is still too cheap for the production we expect from him with both Brooks and Melton sidelined.

Small Forward

Anthony Edwards  ($7,400 DK) The price tag on Edwards really stands out here, as is averaging 39.2 FPTS per game with some massive upside. Edwards was underwhelming in the last one, but that was because he was limited by a blowout. The Timberwolves have a great matchup against the Pelicans tonight and where Edwards is priced a big night could make him a winning play.

Power Forward

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl – ($3,600 DKRobinson-Earl has been playing a huge role for the Thunder over the past four games, and he is yet to be priced up for all the minutes. Robinson-Earl has played 25 or more minutes in each of the past four outings, and he scored 26 or more FPTS in three of them. Robinson-Earl can easily provide great value in this spot again, as we expect the Thunder keep letting him play significant floor time.

Center

Giannis Antetokounmpo – ($12,000 DK) Antetokounmpo is the most expensive option on tonight’s slate, but that is well warranted as he is head and shoulders above the rest of the slate as a DFS producer. Antetokounmpo is averaging 57.8 FPTS on the slate, while the second highest is James Harden at 48.5 FPTS per game. Antetokounmpo is the only player on this slate who goes for 60 FPTS on a regular basis, and his raw production makes him a cash game priority tonight. Antetokounmpo has been crushing lately, as he has scored 74, 66.25 and 66.25 FPTS respectively in his past three games.

General strategy

As we mentioned the key news we are waiting on is whether Gilgeous-Alexander plays tonight, as his absence would create a ton of value from the Thunder. If SGA sits we really like getting to Ty Jerome for cheap value, and both Josh Giddey and Lu Dort would be priorities with huge upside. We don’t like too much from the Thunder if SGA plays, but Dort is still too cheap for his recent production regardless. The Cole Anthony news is also big from Orlando, as a lot of Magic guys will be too expensive if he plays. However, if Anthony sits, we are still happy getting back to Jalen Suggs, Terrence Ross, and R.J. Hampton
