The Vancouver Canucks finally managed to win a game! We did sort of call it later in our article yesterday but we did figure it would be the big guns doing the damage. Vancouver legends Oliver-Ekman Larsson and Conor Garland scored goals and showed why they were so important to Arizona.

Somehow after losing both Tuukka Rask and Jaroslav Halak, the Boston Bruins still have one of the best tandems in the league. Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark are doing well for themselves despite the Bruins lack of goal production. This will be a big matchup tonight against the Flyers before they get back into Beantown tomorrow for the Flames game.
Patrick Kane is one of the reasons it is dangerous to fade a whole team when you are making your picks. The Blackhawks may be garbage and will get trounced tonight, but Kane is going to be your edge tonight. We figure few people are taking him, but he is well over a point per game and is just doing Kaner things. What a beauty.
Tyler Bertuzzi was someone we were not expecting to go after this year due to his refusal to get the Covid vaccine. The Wings are playing as far from Canada as possible today in Glendale, AZ and so he is allowed to play. He has been incredible this year. Definition of a playmaker. He is crushing it with Larkin and Raymond right now.
Jordan Kyrou was a huge breakthrough candidate last year and his surge has not stopped. He is one of the best Blues players right now and that is saying a lot for a team that is lighting the league up.

There are a lot of great goalies to choose from today so we will throw a big net and then narrow down for you. From most expensive to cheapest: Alex Nedeljkovic, Juuse Saros, and Jordan Binnington pique our interest. The Red Wings are playing the worst team in the league, so there is plenty of value in Nedeljkovic. Saros has been very good this year and is facing an anemic Canadiens team. Binnington gets you the biggest savings and faces a Stars team who has surged a little recently but hasn’t made it a habit to crush teams. Re-ordered, we like Saros, Nedeljkovic and finally Binnington. Good luck.
Save $700 on Kane and take William Nylander. He kept the team together while the Big Four were still figuring out how to tie their skates at the beginning of the season. What was once an albatross contract has levelled out and he has become the nearly point a game player the Leafs were hoping for.
Are you using all the savings to take McDavid or Draisaitl? Our money is certainly on Drai right now with the obscene amount of goals he is scoring, but we have some more reasonably priced options for you today. Elias Lindholm is a criminally underrated player and has been instrumental in getting the Flames where they are today.
Pius Suter and Jamie Benn will be your discount centermen for the day. Suter was bumped down to second line when Larkin came back but he is still a beast. Benn and crew are finding their way slowly but surely. This veteran does not deserve to be priced so low.
Base model defenseman on the showroom floor today are Nic Hague and Zach Whitecloud. Alex Martinez was placed on injured reserve and those are some big boots to fill. Both these Golden Knight blue liners can fill that void. Whitecloud himself just came back from injury and scored two goals! Disregard his FPPG since he has only played a few games, it will drop soon enough but he is still a worthy add.
