There is a lot going on for tonight’s six game NBA DFS slate. We have quite a few big names out here, as Bradley Beal, Joel Embiid, and Jaylen Brown. Our biggest priority tonight is going to be getting to the Washington Wizards, as they are all priced for when Beal is on the floor. We are going for less of a stars and scrubs style build tonight in favor of a midrange lineup, for a few reasons. Firstly, the top options from Washington are in the $6,000 – $7,000 range, which is hard to fit into stars and scrubs builds. We also just have more value in the middle today then at the very top or bottom end of the price spectrum. In our core plays for today we are getting to one of our favorite Wizards here, as well as another midrange value who looks fantastic. We will also get to one star at the top end who we are passing on for today. In our premium content we will go over some high upside plays across the slate, as well as one questionable tag we have our eyes on.

With Beal out for Washington tonight there is going to be a massive usage hole that needs to be filled. The Wizards do not have a lot of high scoring options here, so we expect the guys that can take a lot of shots to see a massive opportunity tonight. Spencer Dinwiddie is somewhat expensive here at $6,500, but he is a fantastic play with Beal out. We expect to see Dinwiddie with the Ball in his hands a ton tonight, and we saw him explode for over 57 FPTS when Beal sat earlier this season. We are not worried about the Orlando defense here, and the ceiling is crazy for Dinwiddie.
Cade Cunningham is another priority for us tonight, as within a few slates it is likely we will not be able to roster him at $5,600 like we can tonight. Cunningham has been good so far excluding his first two games back from injury. Right now, he is consistently playing around 30 minutes a game, as one of the highest usage options for the Detroit Pistons. Cunningham has huge upside, as he can easily put together a big game with the role he is playing.
Here’s a Fade DFS Basketball 11/13/21 (using DraftKings Values)
We have quite a few stars that look pretty good tonight, and we will be getting some exposure to in tournament lineups. However, one guy we aren’t using at all on DraftKings tonight is Pascal Siakam who is way to expensive for a guy who is clearly still struggling with injuries. Siakam is $8,200 tonight, which is around where we expect him to be when fully healthy. He has struggled so far in his time on the court, as he is yet to his 30 FPTS this season. Until we see Siakam playing at his usual level, we have no interest at this price point.

Point Guard
Raul Neto – PG ($3,200 DK) With the news that Beal is not going to play today Neto looks like of the best value options on the slate. Averaging 18 FPTS on the season, Neto really does not need to see too big of a boost to give us fantastic value at this price. However, we expect him to see a big minutes boost from the 21 minutes he is currently averaging, and he can easily have a nice game here. The fact that Neto is near minimum price makes him a very safe play here.
Shooting Guard
Marcus Smart – ($5,200 DK) Smart started the season a bit less productive than we had seen him in seasons past, but with Brown out we have seen him have some big games. Smart has been fantastic in his last two, scoring 34.25 and 42.5 FPTS respectively. Smart has been playing a ton of minutes lately and we have seen him taking nice usage. We expect that all to continue as Brown remains out, which means we want to play a lot of Smart at this price.
Jayson Tatum – ($10,400 DK) Tatum was slightly disappointing last night with 48.75 FPTS, however the role he saw was very enticing. Tatum played 42 minutes in overtime last night putting up 25 shot attempts, and we always expect him to take a ton of shots when Brown is not in the picture. A lot of our favorite superstars for DFS are not playing tonight, so Tatum stands out a little more then he usually does. There is always room for a massive game for Tatum when brown sits, and he is a priority for us if you are going towards a stars and scrubs lineup.
Kyle Kuzma – ($6,400 DK) With Beal sidelined for tonight we are going to sit back and ride the Kuz Cruise. As we mentioned earlier the Washington Wizards only have a few guys who like to take a lot of shots tonight, so we expect crazy usage for those few guys. We expect to see Kuzma really let them fly tonight with Beal out, so there is a ton of upside here. Kuzma is averaging 32,8 FTPS on the season so far, and we have to expect a big boost with Beal off the floor.
Chris Boucher – ($3,500 DK) Trying to predict how Boucher is going to producer for DFS can really make you feel like a glutton for disappointment sometimes. However, his super inconsistent production means that his big games are huge for taking down GPP’s. Last time out we saw a big night for Boucher as his 30.5 FPTS was huge at his near minimum price tag. Precious Achiuwa is currently questionable for the Raptors. If he plays, we are concerned Boucher sees enough run to be productive here. However, if Achiuwa sits we are likely to see another decent opportunity for Boucher. If Achiuwa is out we are going to use Boucher for value tonight, especially in large field GPP’s.
General strategy
We don’t have too much questionable tags to watch for tonight, but we are eager to see what ends up happening with Precious Achiuwa. If Achiuwa ends up sitting tonight we could see a nice opportunity for some of the Raptors big men like Boucher. Other then that, we have a good idea of how we are approaching contests as of now. We know for Cash tonight we are plugging in Kuzma and Dinwiddie, and we will probably look to Tatum and Andre Drummond for spend up options. We still really like using the Wizards studs for Tournaments as well, but we also want a lot of exposure to Cunningham, Smart and Dennis Schroder. Make sure to keep an eye on the news tonight, as surprising news can always come out of left field.
