We were looking forward to taking Marc Andre Fleury today but for some reason he is the most expensive goalie on the board. That makes no sense. The Coyotes are bad but so are the Blackhawks. Fleury is letting in almost four goals a game. That is not worth $8,500. Same with Stuart Skinner. Look, we have him buried in one of our dynasty leagues and the kids’ future is bright. He still let in three and was not even saved by the dynamic duo of McDavid and Draisaitl. Stick around for a solid free goalie and stay a little longer for who we are actually taking.

Speaking of being bailed out, Jack Campbell has a nice bonus to his game today. The Maple Leafs face a Calgary team who is going with their backup. Give Dan Vladar credit he has won his only two matches this year, but just like Skinner gave up three in each. As long as Toronto is firing on all cylinders, this should be a cinch for Campbell.
The upgradeable center for you today is Boone Jenner. The Capitals are coming off a game last night against the Red Wings so we are leaning into the fatigue card. The Blue Jackets are having themselves a heck of a year so far to boot. After ten years of playing for them, Jenner proudly wears the captain’s C on his chest and man did he earn it.
Darnell Nurse is worth every penny of his huge extension. He is a monster on and off the puck and looks very confident out there. There was a great Spittin Chiclets episode where he talked about how he has grown that part of himself to feel like he belongs in the NHL. What a dude.

We have to go with Jonas Korpisalo in net tonight. Yes it is extra risk with the amount of goals he is letting in but he needs to be better if he wants this to stay a tandem goalie situation. Merzlikins is the clear number one but Korpisalo has plenty of fight in him, this means more than just the win for the team.
Andrew Mangiapane continues to pay dividends for us. He has an outside chance of making the Canadian Olympic team and every game his chances look better. He deserves to be taken outright and not be part of our bucket of who fills the last spot or two.
There is another sweet block of players that can give you all the confidence you need. Blake Coleman, Lawson Crouse, and Jakub Voracek are ever present dangers on the ice. Voracek is great to stack with Jenner as they are on the same power play. Crouse is the most physical Coyotes and has been one of the few guys scoring goals. He will have a letter on his chest sooner rather than later. Coleman is just one of those guys that gets it done that we are never worried about paying for.
The plan was to compare a couple different blue liners but we landed on Evan Bouchard as outright earning this spot. He is stealing minutes from Tyson Barrie nightly and he scored a spectacular goal against the Bruins less than a minute after they had to tie it back up. He is paired with Nurse. See how they work together tonight.
Cole Sillinger could round out your love of the Blue Jackets today. He is the top line center over Jenner and along with Voracek all run the same power play together. This will be another interesting group to watch how chemistry builds. Take on a smidge more risk and go after Kirby Dach. He will be a star in this league once the Hawks steady the ship. He is getting the minutes and the points will follow.
Lots to consider but all good options! Are you still trying to get McJesus or Drai? Come find us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and get that weekend up and running! Cheers.
