We do not believe in having a case of the Mondays. It’s just another day that hockey is on and we get to write about the greatest sport on earth. There are only three games today so we will keep it tight. There are very few clear, obvious choices in which teams to target because this league is flexing its parity muscles these days.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have stopped their early season skid but there is potential trouble looming on the horizon. One of their starting goalies, Petr Mrazek, was placed on injured reserve. Jack Campbell is playing well right now, but extra workload may cost him. Take him now before he gets hurt!
Mitch Marner very quickly caught up to his normal point per game production and did it in the last five. That is right he has ten points in his last five games. He is dishing sauce to Matthews who is himself back in gear.
Our discount guy for you today is Philip Danault. He was a big acquisition for Los Angeles over the off season and is a big reason why Montreal is hurting so hard this year. He is only second line in LA with Anze Kopitar as number one but he is finding chemistry quickly with a good young team.

We are saving you all the money back here for your blue line. The Florida Panthers defensive corp is absolutely stacked. Mackenzie Weegar and Radko Gudas are both ferocious competitors who are more than willing to put their bodies on the line. Neither are strangers to attacking the other net and trying to get on the scoreboard themselves.
Jeff Skinner’s contract is never going to be worth it. That does not mean he is a bad player and he has been proving that he more than deserves his ice time. Let the haters hate, he can still produce for you.
Carter Verhaege is a player we were all over last year. He over performed like nobodies business and we reaped all the rewards. He is currently a top line winger with a hot young center. More on that in a second.
It does not take a rocket surgeon to go after the hottest team in the league right now, but there are things to know about. They have two young centers that need to be on your radar. Eetu Luostarinenwas always pegged as a third or fourth line grinder but he has been surprising people with points. Anton Lundell has been a highly touted prospect and is as advertised.
That should be more than enough to whet your appetite. Take a peek at Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and have yourselves a wonderful week!
