There is not too much to report on after a wild week in the hockey world. We are fully in the thick of the season and the stars are emerging. We are working diligently to keep you abreast of who is heating up and cooling down and are trying to stay ahead of all the crazy news. Today we did not focus on any particular matchups, because as we did our daily routine of scanning for players that are mispriced, well we found them. Everyone on our list today, except one, does not cost what they can get you. Value city is a beautiful city.

The top two goalies on DraftKings are there for a reason. Markstrom and Binnington are fantastic goaltenders on teams who are crushing it right now. They are both worth the money but we are going with a slightly surprising one today. Petr Mrazek found his way to the Toronto Maple Leafs and is a backup there. They desperately need a good win and against the Red Wings tonight is a good bet. Save some cash, add some risk, and go after the big rewards.
There is no reason that Alexander Barkov should be priced this low. This is highway robbery. One of the best centers in the game for under $8,000 is a must add. He is over a point per game and the Panthers are crushing it right now. Why are you still reading this? Get him!
Pricing models finally caught up to Timo Meier. There will likely be a little bit of a regression at some point and technically speaking he costs more than he should but he is the hot hand right now. He is using his top line time in San Jose to full effect. Matthew Tkachuk has not produced as much as Timo yet but if you like the matchup against Philly he offers some peripherals. He is looking good on the ice and is going to have a much more productive season than last.
Darnell Nurse is a steal alert! Today just seems to be chock full of them. He will never be the biggest offensive hot shot, especially in Edmonton, but he gets all the ice time and is one of the most physical players on the ice. He is ready to pop off.

Moritz Seider needs to move up to the top of our post paywall advice. We have consistently had him as a low budget option and he is our secret weapon. You are almost guaranteed an assist from him and sooner rather than later the goals will happen. He is the top guy in Detroit and will be for a long time.
Continuing on with our cheap teaser picks is Dawson Mercer. Drafted 18th overall by New Jersey last year, he has four points in five games and is a measly $4,000. We are big on the youth here and are going to do a better job than other advice websites on getting out ahead of them. The kids are alright.
Sam Bennett behind Barkov is such a nasty one two punch. He and Huberdeau are making magic together and whoever their other winger is is going to prosper. Bennett had a lull for a couple of games, but we are feeling him revving back up.
The usual suspects are back at it. We promise we actually think through these picks and are not picking the same ones because we are lazy. Blake Coleman is a boss. We have said it before and we will say it again, there is just no substitute for the work ethic he brings to the ice and it is paying him all the dividends.
Oh is that Lucas Raymond again? We guess the Red Wings are relevant now. His price straight up does not meet his potential. Feast while there is still meat on that bone.
