Yesterday was a Hall of Fame DFS lineup for us. Every winger we took scored at least a goal. Alexander Ovechkin and Vladimir Tarasenko had two each while two more had an assist on top of it. There is value around every corner here, but it is maximized by becoming a subscriber. Everyday may not have that level of success but it is our goal. We are not interested in silver. We want gold.
Speaking of Golden, beware of the Knights for now. It is not even that the Colorado Avalanche are particularly dominating right now, they are not. What could have been a finals matchup last year is going to be a barely playoff level scrap. If you are feeling MacKinnon go after him but we are looking at the Winnipeg Jets, Seattle Kraken, and Calgary Flames.
For watching enjoyment, tune into the Tampa Bay Lightning v Pittsburgh Penguins. It should be a riot.
Here’s a true north lineup For DFS Hockey 10/26/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Center | Copp/DuBois | ~$5,500 |

Defense | Josi/Pietrangelo | ~$7,300 |

Goalie | P. Grubauer | $7,800 |
Utility | $3,600 |
The Seattle Kraken have been playing better than their record suggests and Phillipp Grubauer is not entirely to blame for some of the goals against him. The Montreal Canadiens are having a rough go of it to start the season with mounting injuries across the board. This is a game the Kraken really need to clamp down on and use moving forward. If they fail to, we will likely fade them until we learn better.
Mark Scheifele is in Covid protocol which means Pierre-Luc Dubois has taken over top line duties. Andrew Copp has shifted into the middle and is on the second line. Interestingly, Copp is top power play and Dubois is second so there is a critical choice to make here. We have long touted Copp as a secret weapon but his price finally caught up to him. Dubois gets elite sniper Kyle Connor who has six goals in five games and is $1,000 cheaper. Honestly, Connor is worth a hard look too. The Ducks are not doing great this year.
It is time to break out the big guns on defense. Alex Pietrangelo still does not have a point this season yet has managed about 10 fantasy points per game. He is a beast. It will be all gray when he starts getting on the scoreboard. Roman Josi got pretty much all of his points last game so beware of a little lull after that. He still does what Pietrangelo does though and has a ridiculously high floor.
We are keeping the free stuff tight today. You know where the best stuff is.
Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• A pleasant surprise that can be had for less than $4,000
• A choose your own adventure of wingers
• A couple more cheap thoughts• We here at FantasyDFSExperts have a stable of rockstars for every sport. Are you curious about baseball but do not feel like you know enough about all the players? We have you covered. NBA, PGA, LoL, Nascar, you name it, we got it.
Blake Coleman is one of our personal heroes. A grinder that has blossomed into an all around offensive force. He will never be elite, but he is an irreplaceable guy to have on your squad. We picked him yesterday and he got us a goal and an assist. Even if he does not hit that level again today, we know he will be giving it his all. He does not care about second place either.
Just in case it was not abundantly clear in the free section. Kyle Connor is balling out so hard right now. He don’t come cheap though.
One more upper mid level comparison for you will be Andrew Mangiapane vs Brock Boeser. Mangiapane is currently crushing it with five goals in five games. The concern is sustainability with the minutes and deployment he is getting. Boeser has not hit his stride yet but the Canucks have only had three games so far. Boeser is the higher level shooter and it is just a matter of time.
Danton Heinen was the cheap player we alluded to earlier. We were definitely naysayers after his lackluster time in Boston and seemingly failing to make it with the Ducks. He has been outstanding for the Penguins and seems to have found his place. Very high reward for low risk.
Erik Cernak remains undervalued at the defensive position both in the media and on fantasy draft boards. He has quietly been adding to his offensive game. It is such an incredible opportunity to learn from Victor Hedman and Ryan McDonagh. This guy is going to have a long fruitful career.
Brandon Tanev is the equivalent of us going after Alex Killorn yesterday. Low floor, high ceiling. He does not have great peripherals but he has three goals in six games which is modestly impressive. He also sports the best mugshot in the league. We linked to his NHL page for you. It’s spooky good.
We are feeling dialed in lately. If we keep hitting on black, make sure to come to our table and set your chips where ours are. The news is on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and our butts are parked in front of hockey. Seriously, we just have a feeling about this Lightning v Penguins game tonight. Cheers!
