Aaron Nola – P ($8,500) – Nola hasn’t had a great year, but he has still been good at home with an ERA under 3.5 and a WHIP under 1 at home. The strikeouts continue to be there, and with him facing the struggling Pirates tonight, we could be in for a great start from Nola.
Joey Votto– 1B ($5,100) – Coming into tonight, Votto has three home runs in his last three games. The Reds are facing a left-handed start tonight, which Votto hasn’t faired as well against, but Patrick Corbin is far from an ace, so if the Reds can get to him early they should get into the bullpen of the Nationals which would favor Votto.
Marcus Semien– 2B ($5,300) – While Semien didn’t have a great series in Tampa Bay, he will face a Twins pitching staff that is a far cry from that of Tampa Bay. Look for Semien to bounce back today.
Eugenio Suárez – 3B ($4,400) – Suárez’s last two games he has four hits with a double and a home run. It hasn’t been a great season as a whole for Suárez, but his September has been fantastic with a batting average of 0.343 for the month.
Nick Castellanos – OF ($5,500) Castellanos has five hits over his last three games and two doubles. He hits left-handed pitching well, so look for a nice game from Castellanos tonight at home.

The Pitchers
Luis Castillo ($8,900 DK) Castillo is coming off a fantastic ten-strikeout performance where he went six shutout innings against the Dodgers. He will have an easier opponent tonight, so let’s hope he can build off that game and provide another one tonight.
Lance McCullers Jr. ($10,100 DK) – McCullers will face an Angels that has the second-lowest team SLG of any MLB team over the last two weeks. McCullers hasn’t given up more than two runs in any of his last four starts, and he has struck out seven batters on average in his last three starts.
The Value Players
Nick Gordon – SS ($2,200) – Gordon has hits in each of his last four games, with two doubles, a home run and two steals during that stretch. You are getting him right near the minimum today, which could be a great value.
Max Kepler- OF ($3,800) – In the last two games, Kepler has gotten hot. He has six hits, a double and two home runs in that stretch. He hasn’t hit lefties as well this year, but at his price, he is worth a look on a short slate.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr.- OF ($3,200) – Gurriel has two multi-hit games and two home runs and a double in his last four games for the Blue Jays. With the Blue Jays offence, getting a player that is part of it below $3500 feels like a steal.
The Stacks
Toronto Blue Jays – We discussed Semien and Gurriel, and if you can find the budget space I would add Vladimir Gurerro Jr, who has also been hitting well for the Blue Jays.
Minnesota Twins – I wouldn’t avoid the Twins tonight. We talked about how well Kepler and Gordon have been playing and you can add in Josh Donaldson who hit two home runs against Blue Jays pitching when the teams faced off last week.
Cincinnati Reds – While the Reds can struggle against lefties, I wouldn’t shy away from them tonight. We talked about Votto, Castellanos and Suárez, and I would be stacking those three.
