We have eight games today with the first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Matt Chapman and the Oakland Athletics, taking on Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels in Los Angeles. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Chicago White Sox (5.6), Houston Astros (5.5), and the Milwaukee Brewers (4.9).
The weather looks good across the board today, with less than a 10 percent chance of rain for all of the games today.

Lance Lynn – P ($8,700) – In Lynn’s last four starts he has given up more than one run, just once, while striking out as many as nine batters, which was in his last start. This is a great matchup for Lynn tonight facing the Rangers, so take advantage of him at this price.
Luis Torrens – C ($4,000) – Torrens has hits in five straight games, and he will be facing a left-handed pitcher tonight, which he has hit considerably better against this year, as shown by his batting average that is 40 points higher against lefties. The Mariners have struggled to score runs, recently, but that shouldn’t be the case forever.
Shohei Ohtani – 1B ($4,600) – Ohtani has been one of the best power hitters in the league this season. He has hit a bit of a rough patch with hits in just six of his last eight games, but this is a great price for a player who is among the leaders in home runs.
Kris Bryant – 3B/OF ($4,500) – We are going to go back to Bryant today. He has three doubles and a home run in his last four games, and I expect him to continue to hit well today as Bryant has excelled since coming to the Giants.
Bryce Harper – OF ($6,000) It is now a 13-game hitting streak for Harper, who has five doubles in his last four games to go along with a home run and a stolen base. His price is high, but his ceiling is high today too.

The Pitchers
Adam Wainwright ($8,400 DK) In three of his last five starts Wainwright hasn’t given up a single run, and he only gave up one run in one of the other two. Wainwright has been a top starter all year, and he isn’t priced like it today, even with him facing a Padres team who has the third-worst team slugging percentage over the last two weeks.
Lance McCullers Jr. ($9,500 DK) – Over his last three starts McCullers hasn’t given up more than two runs, and he has struck out seven batters in back-to-back starts as well. This is a good matchup going up against the Diamondbacks at home, so I wouldn’t be afraid to pay up for him today.
Kris Bubic ($6,400 DK) Bubic’s start got pushed from yesterday. Here is what was noted yesterday. As a GPP play, there is a lot to like about Bubic. He will face a Mariners team that isn’t hitting right now(0.236 team batting average over the last two weeks.) so he could be a good low-cost play.
The Value Players
Freddy Galvis – SS ($3,700) – In Galvis’ last three games he has four hits, which includes a double and a home run. Galvis’ spot in the lineup can vary, but it should be a good matchup for him today.
Jarred Kelenic- OF ($3,400) – Kelenic seems to have found his power stroke at the MLB level. He has four home runs in his last six games, including a two home-run game last night.
Dylan Carlson- OF ($2,700) – Carlson had a big night last hitting a pair of home runs. He has hits in three of his last four games, and at his price, he is worth the investment to see if this is turning into a hot streak.
The Stacks
Seattle Mariners – We talked about Torrens and Kelenic, but you can look at adding Ty France or Jake Fraley to them to make a nice Mariners stack today going up against the Royals.
Philadelphia Phillies – When stacking the Phillies, I would look to add J.T. Realmuto to go with the previously mentioned Harper and Galvis. If you’re looking to save some budget you can use Segura instead.
Houston Astros – With the Astros today, I would look at stacking Kyle Tucker, with Yuli Gurriel, and Jake Meyers. Gurriel and Meyers shouldn’t see high ownership, which could provide an advantage in GPP’s.
