We have fifteen games today with the first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Buster Posey and the San Francisco Giants, taking on Francisco Lindor and the New York Mets in New York. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Tampa Bay Rays (6.2), Boston Red Sox (5.9), and Chicago White Sox (5.7).
We will need to keep an eye on the weather tonight. We have the chance of rain delays or having games postponed with Tampa Bay vs Baltimore, Arizona vs Philadelphia, Washington vs the Mets, and Milwaukee vs Minnesota.

Joe Musgrove- P ($9,600) – Outside of one start, Musgrove has been consistently good in his last five starts. In four of the five games he gave up one run or less, and he has struck out as many as eleven batters in those starts as well.
Jorge Polanco– 2B ($3,900) – There is a lot to like about Polanco even at an increased price. He has hit a home run in three straight games, and he has hits in four of his six of his last seven games.
Bo Bichette–SS ($4,700) – We are getting Bichette at a lower price than normal today. He has struggled a bit since returning to the lead-off spot for the Blue Jays, but he remains a dynamic player, and he is seeing more play appearances with a higher spot in the order.
Bryce Harper – OF ($6,400) – In Harper’s last two games he has two doubles and a home run. He is always a threat for a big night as a player who can hit for power, and steal bases as well. Additionally, he is rarely a player who gives you zero with him getting on base 41 percent of the time.
Nick Castellanos- OF ($4,200) – Castellanos has hits in seven straight games with four of those seven games being multi-hit games. Add to that he has hit a home run in three of his last five games at well.

The Pitchers
J.A Happ ($8,000) Happ has been fantastic since coming to the Cardinals. In his four starts with them he hasn’t given up more than two runs in a start, and he has struck out as many as eight batters. He will be in Pittsburgh tonight where not only will he face a weak lineup, but he will also be in one of the best pitching parks in the league.
Gerrit Cole ($10,700) – In Cole’s last two starts he has only given up one run. He has struck out ten or more batters in three of his last five starts and he will face an Athletics team today who strikes out more than 22 percent of the time.
Steven Matz ($8,200) – Matz had a solid outing his last time out against the Tigers, he just couldn’t get the strikeouts. It’s hard to imagine he will only strike out one batter today especially with the Tigers striking out 25 percent of the time over the last two weeks.
The Value Players
Ryan Mountcastle – 1B ($3,700) – In Mountcastle’s last three games he has two multi-hit games with two home runs and a double. He also will face a left-handed starter tonight who has a batting average of 0.285, 30 points higher than right-handed pitchers.
Josh Donaldson –3B ($3,700) – Donaldson has three home runs in his last five games, and he is one of the top options at 3B today. He will be at home in Minnesota, which is a hitters park, and he will face a left-handed starter he has hit seven home runs in just over 100 at-bats.
Anthony Santander – OF ($2,800) – Santander like Mountcastle has hit left-handed pitching better than right-handed this season (nearly 30 points better). Santander went hitless last night but he does have seven hits in his last three games with three doubles and two home runs.
The Stacks
Baltimore Orioles – The Orioles will likely be overlooked tonight facing the Rays, but the Orioles hit left-handed pitching really well, so going with a stack of Santander, Mountcastle, and Ramon Urias is one that could pay off while using very little of your budget.
Chicago White Sox – The White Sox is a good option. They scored lots of runs in recent days, and I would be looking to stack Jose Abreu with Luis Robert and Leury Garcia.
San Diego Padres – The Padres bats have struggled a bit recently, but that will only serve to bring their price and ownership down. You should be able to use Cronenworth, Pham, and Grisham, and still, have plenty of budget left to spend.
