We have fifteen games today with the first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by J.D. Martinez and the Boston Red Sox, taking on Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers in Detroit. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the New York Yankees (6.3), Colorado Rockies (6.2), and the Chicago White Sox (5.6).
There is some risk of rain in Colorado tonight for the game between the Cubs and the Rockies. It is only a 16 percent chance of rain at game time, but within three hours it is expected to go up to 30 percent.

Outfield |
Taijuan Walker- P ($8,500) – Walker has had issues lately with giving up home runs(five in his last two starts). With this game being in Miami that should help reduce that number between the ballpark being pitcher-friendly and the Marlins generally not being a power-hitting team.
Jean Segura – 2B ($4,400) – Segura continues to hit well from the top of the Phillies order. He has at least a hit in 13 of his last 14 games, and he has three doubles in his last two games. To add to that Segura will be facing a left-handed starter tonight, which he is hitting 0.324 off of on the season.
Manny Machado – 3B ($5,100) – Another player steaking right now is Machado. He has hits in each of his last seven games, with three multi-hit games, and four home runs during that stretch.
Trevor Story – SS ($5,200) – While there is a risk of rain, it is hard to pass up on Story at home. His triple slash at Coors Field this year is 0.291/0.345/0.477, and as good as those numbers are those are his worst in the last four years, so there is still room for improvement there.
J.D. Martinez –OF ($5,200) While this price seems steep for a player who hasn’t hit particularly well lately, Martinez knows Comerica Park in Detroit well, and he will be facing a Detroit starter who has an ERA over 3.5.

The Pitchers
Adrian Houser ($7,600 DK) At his price you can make a case for Houser. He hasn’t given up a run in three of his last four appearances. This value however is going to be strongly tied to run prevention and going deep enough into the game to be eligible for the win.
Walker Buehler ($10,900) – Buehler is the anti-Houser. Buehler typically goes deep into games (he hasn’t gone less than five innings in a start his season), and he strikes batters out (at least eight strikeouts in each of his last three starts). The only issue with Buehler is his price tag, but if you want some safety at pitcher, Buehler is your guy.
Hyun Jin Ryu ($8,700) – In Ryu’s last four starts he has only given up four total runs. He will face a Cleveland team that has a team batting average over the last two weeks of just 0.242 against left-handed pitching.
The Value Players
Seby Zavala – C ($2,300) – Zavala is coming off the heels of a four-hit, three-home-run game on Sunday. We likely won’t see that kind of output again from him, but if he can give us a hit and score a run we will be at value with how he is priced.
Ryan Mountcastle – 1B/OF ($3,200) – Mountcastle has hit lefties well all season long with a 0.281 batting average and a 0.535 SLG. He will face a lefty in Nestor Cortes today who has made just three MLB starts, so don’t’ be surprised if Mountcastle has a big day.
Rafael Ortega – OF ($2,600) – Ortega has come out of nowhere to be one of the hottest hitters in baseball. In his last three games, he has eight hits, four home runs, a double, and a steal, and you’re going to get him at a bargain price.
The Stacks
New York Yankees – While the Yankees didn’t score as expected, it’s hard to imagine that Baltimore will continue to keep the Yankees’ run totals down. You will be able to get Anthony Rizzo, Aaron Judge, Gleybar Torres, and Giancarlo Stanton all for under 5K each.
Toronto Blue Jays – We talk about Blue Jays stacks a lot, but that is because they are consistently among the top-scoring teams. Vlad Guerrero Jr is typically out of reach with his huge price, but you can get Bichette, with Springer, and either Teoscar Hernandez or Randal Grichuk at a respectable overall cost.
Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies are a team that is seemingly designed to score runs against lefties, and they will face one tonight in Patrick Corbin who has an ERA that is close to 6. Bryce Harper will cost you, but you can add Jean Segura and Rhys Hoskin for a stack and still have budget to spend.
