We have fifteen games tonight with the first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, taking on Nelson Cruz and the Tampa Bay Rays in Tampa Bay. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Chicago Cubs (6.1), Toronto Blue Jays (5.9) and the Philadelphia Phillies (5.8).
We have a chance of rain in Boston closer to 9 PM EST, which could delay or cut the length of the game between the Red Sox and Blue Jays short.

Outfield |
Adam Wainwright – P ($8,800) – Wainwright continues to perform even at age 39. He has given up more than three runs just once in his last five starts and he has a good matchup tonight going against Cleveland.
Pete Alonso – 1B ($5,700) – Alonso is one of the best power hitters in baseball, and he has three home runs in his last five games. He is always a threat, and with him hitting at the top of the order he will get opportunities to hit.
Bo Bichette – SS ($4,800) – We are going to go back to the well with Bichette again today. He hit a home run last night, which was his second in three nights, and his price went down.
Marcus Semien– 2B ($5,000) – The Blue Jays have one of the best lineups in baseball, and Semien has been among the best at second base. He has multi-hit games in two of his last three games, and with the Blue Jays expected to score more than six runs tonight, he should get lots of opportunities to do damage.
Eloy Jimenez – OF ($2,500) Eloy is going to be very chalky tonight. He is one of the best hitters in the American League and he is near the minimum price because he is coming off an injury. This price though is too good to refuse.

The Pitchers
Taylor Widener ($7,700 DK) While I could quote stats to you about why I think you should start Widener, the biggest reason is he is facing Texas, and Texas is really struggling to hit right now. Widener comes with some risk as he hasn’t gone five innings in his last two starts, but when you’re facing a team that has an average below 0.200 and an OBP below 0.300, anything is possible.
Dylan Cease ($8,600) – Cease has given up more than three runs in just one of his last five starts, and in those five starts, he had a ten-strikeout game. He will have a good place to pitch tonight in Kansas City, against a Royals team that is an average hitting team.
Julio Urias ($9,000) – San Francisco is still one of the best parks to pitch in, and with the Giants going with Logan Webb today, I will give Urias an edge in getting the win today even on the road. Urias has only also given up more than two runs to the Giants in one of his three starts against them this year.
The Value Players
Dalton Varsho – C/OF ($3,800) – Varsho has hits in five straight games, and four of those games were multi-hit games, and in three of them he hit home runs. Varsho has the reputation of a catcher than hits, and he is doing just that.
Randal Grichuk – OF ($3,900) – Grichuk hasn’t been hitting as much lately, but his power is undeniable, and he will be in a situation tonight where he can put that power on display going against a poor pitching team in the Red Sox in Boston.
Harrison Bader – OF ($2,500) – This is a great price for Bader’s recent production. He has at least one hit in seven of his last eight games. In five of those games, he has multiple hits, and he has hit a home run in two of his last three games.
The Stacks
Toronto Blue Jays – We talked about three Blue Jays already with Semien, Bichette and Grichuk. You can add Springer or Hernandez into that mix if you want, and even Vlad Guerrero Jr if you can find enough value.
Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies are one of the more expensive teams tonight, but you can get Hoskin, Segura, Gregorius and McCutchen in for under 5k each and they are all either at the top or middle of the order.
Chicago White Sox – While it’s the Cubs who are expected to score the most runs, I feel a lot safer investing in the White Sox. You’re going to get Eloy for next to nothing, which will allow you to get Jose Abreu, and Yoan Moncada in with money left to spend.
