We have an six-game slate with first pitch at 7:05 PM EST. Today’s slate of games is highlighted by Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers, taking on Fernando Tatis Jr. and the San Diego Padres in the San Diego. The highest implied run totals tonight sit with the Houston Astros (6.0), Cincinnati Reds (4.9), and Milwaukee Brewers(4.9).
There is a less than 40 percent chance of rain for the Astros/Orioles game in Baltimore, so there is some risk of a rain delay or the game being postponed..

Yu Darvish – P ($10,200)
Darvish at home this year has been very good. Batters are hitting under 0.200 with a SLG of 0.348, and he hasn’t given up more than two runs in his last four home starts.
Ryan Mountcastle – 1B ($4,100)
Mountcastle keep his hitting streak going yesterday as it has now moved up to six games. He will face a Jake Odorizzi tonight who comes in with a 5.68 ERA, so there should be opportunities for Mountcastle to have a nice game.
Tony Kemp – 2B ($3,100)
Kemp has hits in each of the last six games that he has started. He has the joy of moving from one good hitting environment at Yankee Stadium, to an even better one at Globe Life Field in Texas, where the ball really travels when the weather heats up(the high today is 108 in Dallas).
Willy Adames – SS ($4,300)
Over the last three games Adames has six hits, not bad for a weekend. The Brewers will be facing a Diamondbacks team that is really struggling right now, and they will be using a starter tonight who comes in with a 5.40 ERA.
Yordan Alvarez – OF ($5,000)
Alvarez comes into tonight with hits in seven straight games. Look for the Astros to score lots of runs with this game in Baltimore, and Keegan Akin starting for the Orioles who has a near six ERA through four starts this year.

The A List
Tommy Pham – OF ($4,600) – In Pham’s last 11 at-bats he has four doubles and a home run. He is leading off for the Padres, and while games against the Dodgers are not idea for getting big scores it is hard to deny how hot Pham has been.
Aaron Civale – P ($8,500) – Civale has had some struggles recently, but they have been against some of the best hitting teams in the American League. He will be facing a Cubs team who over the last two weeks has just 0.170 batting average as a team, and a SLG of 0.356, which is fourth worst in MLB.
The B List
Alex Kiriloff – OF ($3,700) – Kiriloff has hits in four of his last five games, and while only two of those are extra base hits, he is hitting in the middle of a Twins lineup that is starting to get healthy and could start to take off.
Eugenio Suarez – 3B ($3,900) – Suarez is starting to turn things around with hits in six of his last nine games. Prior to the last couple of years Suarez has hit lefties well, so a game against one like J.A. Happ who has an ERA over 6 could be what Suarez needs to get his power game going.
The C List
Cedric Mullins II– OF ($4,600 DK) Mullins has been one of the best hitting players in MLB all season. He has five hits and four home runs in his last three games. Mullins will be worth a look as long as the Orioles are at home.
Victor Caratini– C ($2,500 DK) On the surface, Caratini’s numbers don’t’ look great, but his numbers against lefties are very good, and he will be facing one tonight. He is cheap, and he will help you get some of your higher-end players in while giving you some potential to not take a 0 at the position, as he is hitting 0.319 on the year against left-handed pitching.
The Strategy
With a short slate tonight, you will want to make sure you have some shares of the teams that are expected to score lots of runs tonight(I’m looking at Houston here specifically). I wouldn’t be against a game stack of Houston and the Orioles, but there is some weather risk there, so if you need to shift your money to a different game go to Cincinnati and the Twins where we also have some bad pitchers going tonight.
