The conference finals are here. Four teams are left battling for the opportunity to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. Tomorrow the Vegas Golden Knights will play the Montreal Canadiens and today the Tampa Bay Lightning meet the New York Islanders. The Islanders defensive and goalie systems are going to be pushed to the limit by the Lightning behemoth. Every player is going to have to bring absolutely everything they have to survive.
As a heads up, we are going to be updating our format a bit so bear with us as we work out the kinks and find our stride. We also added direct links to DraftKings and Twitter to make things flow a little easier for you.
Here’s a fresh lineup For DFS Hockey 6/13/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Captain | A Vasilevskiy | $15,300

Flex | Cernak/Pelech | ~$5,300
Flex | |||
Flex | $2,000 |
Andre Vasilevskiy is playing at the top of his game with an incredibly talented and confident group of skaters in front of him. The Islanders found more offense than usual but they were playing a depleted defense in the Bruins while Tuukka Rask was battling through injury. Tampa’s defense is deadly right now. Vasi is the guy to own.
Long time readers will know we love us a defenseman that will pack those peripheral categories. One of our long time favorites has been Adam Pelech who has a floor that we enjoy standing on. Another one that is entering into the same conversation is Erik Cernak. Cernak continues to be given more responsibility and he has been using it effectively. He is adding an offensive threat to his arsenal and seems to be maturing into quite the player. Keep an eye on him and expect to hear his name more.
As you can see part of what we are going to be trying is giving you more options and not just an inflexible list telling you what to do. We will also be sharing more thoughts on our process which could help level up your fantasy game. All that and more on the other side. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to the new and improved FantasyDFSExperts hockey article. The main change is that we will be discussing options at different price points below. .
Going right away to the big guns, do you go with Mat Barzal or Brayden Point? Most money is going to be on Point but Barzal has been picking his pace up. If you are looking at how quiet he was last game please notice the time on ice. He was only out there for ten minutes in this blowout. They rested him and he will be good to go.
Next up we are deciding between Alex Killorn and Josh Bailey. Killorn has been talked about quite a bit but Bailey is not known in many places outside of Long Island. He and the second line smashed the Bruins with the extra time with Barzal taking it easy. The Brock-ness monster scored two goals and Bailey played a part in both. They are ready to go.
We may end up doing more of a pool with this section since you will probably be able to afford both of them and fill out your roster. Ross Colton is worth a swing at $2,000. Nick Leddy is worth a look as well. We can’t help but notice that his FPPG is a notch higher than his colleagues in the same price range. He has two assists in the past two games and is a viable threat.
One last thing, if you are feeling spicy and need to save a few hundred bucks somewhere, Semyon Varlamov should not be written off in any way shape or form.
