As we head into Charlotte Race week, we will have to look at drivers’ stats and history from other road courses as we build our lineup this week. Another great part about this weekend is we are back to practice and qualifying. This week we are going to focus on finding value by looking at previous top contenders at this speedway. There are quite a few value drivers that you can insert into your lineup. Let’s now take a deep dive into who I think you can insert into your lineup for the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Below is a lineup that we believe can provide the best value for the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on 05/29/2021 (DraftKings Values)
Driver #1 | Chase Briscoe | $ 11,000
Driver #2 | Tyler Reddick | $ 10,300
Driver #3 | $ | ||
Driver #4 | Myatt Snider | $ 7,400
Driver #5 | $ | ||
Driver #6 | $ 6,100 |
Chase Briscoe ($11,000)
All year I have been very excited to see what rookie Chase Briscoe can do in this Number 14 Stuart Haas Racing Ford this season in the Cup Series. This week however, he is returning to the Xfinity Series to tear it up. Briscoe absolutely dominated the Series last year with his season high nine wins. In 2021 in the Cup Series he has not had the success I thought he might have had out of the gun, but he will come around. Briscoe finished his Xfinity career in 2020 with nine wins, four more then the five-race goal that he set for himself. He was great at virtually everywhere he raced in 2020. Briscoe has shown so far that he may need a couple of races to adjust to the new challenges that driving in the Cup Series presents, however, his 2020 success could indicate otherwise. Chase should still be a lock for contention for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award and could very well be in the mix for a playoff spot in 2021. Look for him to have a good race this weekend in the Xfinity Series and even potentially win. He is my favorite driver this week. And I will do whatever it takes to fit him into my lineup.
Tyler Reddick ($10,300)
When Tyler Reddick races in the Xfinity Series I like to have him in my lineup due to the same fact that I have Chase Briscoe this week, and that is because when he raced in the Xfinity Series he has been dominant. Reddick since he burst onto the scene in 2018 and 2019 winning eight races in the Xfinity Series while also being back to back champion those two years. Reddick moved up to the Cup Series in 2020 and had a great rookie season with three top-five finishes and nine top 10 finishes. For me, anytime I see Reddick back in the Xfinity Series I am going to insert him into my lineup. With that as well, I don’t mind the price point for him either. Reddick has raced well in the Xfinity Series the last three years.
Myatt Snider ($7,400)
As one of seven drivers to clinch their spot into the playoffs this year with a win, Myatt Snider is trending to have his best year yet. In his first fulltime season in 2020, Snider had two top-five finishes and six top 10 finishes. So far in 2021, Snider has one win and two top 10 finishes. Snider is trending in the right direction. Snider has raced at Charlotte once in the last three years where he finished 10th. So far in 2021 Snider has one win, three top 10 finishes and has led eight laps. I would bet that Snider starts this race near the middle of the pack and should be able to race to another top 10 finish this weekend.

Driver #3 | Michael Annett | $ 8,100
Driver #4 | Myatt Snider | $ 7,400
Driver #5 | Brandon Brown | $ 7,000
Driver #6 | Jeffrey Earnhardt | $ 6,100 |
Michael Annett ($8,100)
The driver of the number 1 for JR Motorsports Michael Annett finished the 2020 season ninth in points and made the playoffs. Annett is one of the more seasoned veterans in the Xfinity Series with his 306 career starts. Annett has been able to secure five top 10 finishes so far this year, including a seventh-place finish at Dover and a so close top 10 finish last weekend at the Circuit of Americas with an 11th place finish. Annett has a seventh-place finish in 2020 and a sixth-place finish in 2019 at Charlotte, while also leading nine laps over the last three seasons. Overall, pretty good for the veteran. Annett is going to be looking at continuing his good season this year by adding another top 10 finish, something he has shown he can do numerous times.
Brandon Brown ($7,000)
Before the start of this season Brandon Brown only had one top-five finish and seven top 10 finishes to his name on the Xfinity Series. Now after a hot start to the 2021 season Brown has almost matched his career performance in 11 races. So far, this year Brown has one top-five finish at Phoenix Raceway. To go along with back to back top 10 finishes at the two Daytona tracks and five top 10 finishes total. Brown will likely start the race in the middle after qualifying, improves his point differential potential. I see this as a great opportunity for Brown to get another top 10 finish. This may even be in the realm of a safe pick this week especially for his dollar value. He is driving well and could be in for a top-five finish again this week. I don’t think you can go wrong with Brown in your lineup this week. Brown offers a lot of flexibility with his price tag.
Jeffrey Earnhardt ($6,100)
This is a deep sleeper pick for this week, but Jeffrey Earnhardt has had some of his best races in the Xfinity Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In 2019 Earnhardt had his best finish as he finished in the top five with e third place finish. With Earnhardt not qualifying last week, I would expect that he will start this race in the back and if he can show what he showed in 2019 he could be a diamond in the rough this week. Earnhardt has yet to finish top 10 this year, but he could be in for his first at one of his best tracks.
