We have a ten-game slate with first pitches at 1:05 PM EST. We have another day without any intriguing pitching matchups so look for lots of runs to be scored. The highest implied run totals for a game today lays in Denver with the Cincinnati Reds(5.9) going against the Colorado Rockies(5.7)
The weather looks good across the board so all the players on this slate should be in play.

Alex Wood ($9,400)
Wood comes into today having not given up more than two runs in any of his five starts. He doesn’t accumulate big strikeout totals, but with this game the pitcher friendly confines of PNC Park in Pittsburgh, and against the Pirates its hard to see him giving up more than two runs today.
William Contreras ($3,400)
We are going to go back to the well with Contreras today, after he hit a home run in our line up yesterday. He has now hit home runs in two out of three games, and the game he didn’t, he had a triple.
Bobby Dalbec ($2,500)
Dalbec leads all first basemen coming into today in slugging percentage over the last four days, and you’re going to get him at the minimum price. His lineup placement isn’t ideal as he hits at the bottom of the Red Sox lineup, but he has two home runs and two doubles in his last three games.
Xander Bogaerts ($5,700)
With Baltimore doing a bullpen game today, this is an ideal spot to pay up for Bogaerts. Like Dalbec he has two home runs, and two doubles in his last three games, however he has a premium lineup spot hitting out of the four spot for the Red Sox.
Kyle Tucker ($3,500)
Tucker is another player we used yesterday that paid off, and we are going to go back to him again today. Yesterday Tucker went two for four with a home run, and now has multi-hit games in four of his last five games. This is a great price for that kind of production.

Pitcher | Alex Wood | $9,400
Pitcher | Dylan Cease | $7,400
Catcher | William Contreras | $3,400
First Base | Bobby Dalbec | $2,500
Second Base | Ozzie Albies | $4,800
Third Base | Evan Longoria | $3,600
Short Stop | Xander Bogaerts | $5,700

Outfield | J.D. Martinez | $5,400
Outfield | Michael Brantley | $4,300 |
Salary Remaining $0
Dylan Cease ($7,400)
Expect Cease to be highly used today, but in cash games we want to be willing to play into some of that chalk especially when it comes with good value. Cease strikes out 32 percent of the batters he faces, and he is yet to give up more than three runs in a start this season. The risk with him is that he doesn’t always go deep into games, so the win can be a risk with him.
Ozzie Albies ($4,800)
Evan Longoria ($3,600)
Longoria is a player we are going to look to today so we can fit some higher priced bats in elsewhere. Longoria hasn’t done anything notable in his last few games, but the Pirates start, Mitch Keller, has an ERA that is near eight, so the Giants should be able to get a few runs across today, and with Longoria hitting out of the three spot in the lineup, he should have plenty of opportunity to return value for us today.
J.D. Martinez ($5,400)
Martinez comes into todays game with multi-hit games in two of his last three games. He has also gone ten games without a home run, so a game in Baltimore where they will be using their bullpen could be just the elixir he needs to end that streak.
Michael Brantley ($4,300)
All Brantley does is hit. He has hits in six of his last seven games, and two doubles in his last five games. You’re largely paying for his floor, but with him hitting in the middle of the order, there is plenty of upside with him as well.
Alternative Moves…
Aaron Judge – OF ($5,300 DK) If you prefer the Yankee’s matchup today, Judge is a great option. He leads all players in slugging percentage over the last four days and has been getting on base 65 percent of the time in that stretch.
Matthew Boyd– P ($7,000 DK) Boyd comes with the risk that he won’t get the win, but if we can set aside that he pitches for the Tigers for a moment, his performance has been very good this year. He hasn’t given up more than two runs in a start, and he has struck out as many as eight batters in a game this season.
