We have a seven-game slate with first pitches at 7:05 EST. There should be lots of fun games today including Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels today. The weather is getting warmer which means we are starting to get more Saturday night games.
The weather looks good across the board today, there is a chance of rain in New York, but it shouldn’t be anything more than a delay.

Lance Lynn ($9,500)
Lynn comes into today’s game striking out 30 percent of the batters he has faced, and an ERA below two. The Royals over the last week have a team batting average of just 0.237 and a team WRC+ of 95(100 is average). This is a very winnable game for Lynn and the White Sox, and even if they lose, Lynn should give you enough strikeouts to still be valuable.
Danny Jansen ($2,500)
Coming into tonight Jansen has hit home runs in back to back games, so getting that kind of production at catcher at a minimum price is one that is worth looking into, so we can get some big bats into our lineup without taking on risk with our pitchers.
Max Muncy ($4,900)
Muncy is starting to heat up. He has two home runs, and a double in his last three games. He will be facing an Angels team that gives up nearly five runs per game on the season, so expect the Dodgers to score some runs today.
Dansby Swanson ($3,800)
Swanson had a nice game last night for the Braves, with a double and a home run. At his current price it is easy to go back to the well to see if he can give us something similar. The Phillies are going to be using the often erratic Vince Velasquez tonight so we could see lots of runs from the Braves tonight at home.
Ronald Acuña Jr. ($5,600)
It is hard to ignore the upside of Acuña at times. In his last six games, he has two home runs, two steals, and two multi-hit games. His price is high, but new players in the league are capable of putting up the big numbers that Acuña can.

Pitcher | Lance Lynn | $9,500
Pitcher | Ian Anderson | $8,900
Catcher | Danny Jansen | $2,500
First Base | Max Muncy | $4,900
Second Base | Marcus Semien | $4,200
Third Base | Austin Riley | $3,900
Short Stop | Dansby Swanson | $3,800
Outfield | Ronald Acuña Jr. | $5,600
Outfield | Teoscar Hernández | $3,800
Outfield | Kevin Pillar | $2,900 |
Salary Remaining $0
Ian Anderson ($8,900)
Anderson is coming off a rough start against the Blue Jays, but his two starts prior he hadn’t given up a run and gave up on five hits combined. Games against the Phillies are far from a gimmie, but Anderson has had success against them this season already.
Marcus Semien ($4,200)
Austin Riley ($3,900)
Riley has cooled off a bit this week having gone hitless in his last four games, but as previously noted Velasquez is erratic, and tends to challenge players with pitches in the centre of the plate when he gets behind. So this could be the game that gets him going back in the right direction.
Kevin Pillar ($2,900)
Pillar has been among the few Mets who haven’t been struggling to hit. He has three multi-hit games in his last six games played, which includes a pair of home runs and a steal. He’s a value priced player who is hitting the ball so we will take it.
Teoscar Hernandez ($3,800)
Hernandez looks to of gotten the rust off after coming back from injury. He has a home run and a steal in his last two games, and if you can get either of those events at his price you won’t be disappointed.
Alternative Moves…
Hunter Dozier – OF ($3,700 DK) If you want to move away from Lance Lynn tonight, you should look at getting Dozier into your lineup. He has multi-hit games in three of his last six games with three doubles and three home runs.
Kohei Arihara– P ($5,000 DK) This is more of a GPP play, but Arihara will be facing a Mariners team that over the last week has a triple slash of 0.204/0.283/0.365 while striking out 27 percent of the time. While Arihara hasn’t been great so far this year, anytime you can face a team that is struggling with a minimum priced pitcher it is worth a shot in GPP.
