What a slate tonight. We have a tremendous amount of value packed into tonight’s six game NBA slate, and we will be giving you our priority targets on DraftKings and FanDuel. We have a myriad of stars sidelined tonight, including Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Joel Embiid. In consequence there are a few teams that look like great targets tonight. Our strategy for the night involves going heavy on Brooklyn Nets, as they are missing multiple high usage stars. We will be playing stars and scrubs tonight, as there is a ton of value and some great studs to pay up for.

Kyrie Irving is out today for the Nets which opens a ton of opportunity in the guard rotation. Tyler Johnson has seen massive floor time this season in games without Irving and is one of our favorite value plays tonight. Johnson is only $3,100 and has consistently scored north of 20 FPTS when Irving has sat out in the past. In the most recent game without Irving, Johnson scored 24 FPTS in 31 minutes. Brooklyn have a great matchup against Portland tonight, and Johnson is in position to smash value.
Jordan Poole has been the biggest beneficiary of Steph Curry’s absence so far. Poole has been the starting point guard without Curry and ahs excelled in the position. Poole has played 34 and 38 minutes the past two games, scoring 34 and 42 FPTS, respectively. Poole has been priced up to $5,600 tonight, which is still way too cheap for his role without Curry. There are a ton of strong guard options tonight, but Poole is one of our favorite options value wise.
Lebron James and Anthony Davis are both still sidelined for the Lakers. Talen Horton-Tuckersaw a nice role with the two stars out and we love going back to him tonight. Horton-Tucker is $5,500 tonight, which is still a good price for the upside he has with the gutted L.A. squad. Horton-Tucker scored 31.5 FPTS while shooting 6-16 last game. With a better shooting night, he can be an absolute must tonight, but he should provide solid value regardless.
James Harden is questionable as of now an is an absolute lock if he is in. Harden has been dominant without Irving or Durant on the floor in the past and he has a great matchup tonight. With all the value on the slate, we have no problem paying $11,000 for Harden. Frankly, we would pay much more. Harden is averaging 61 FPTS over the last ten days and easily has upside for over 70 if he is in tonight. There is not a single high usage player on Brooklyn outside of the Harden tonight, and he has some of the best upside you can get in NBA DFS. Harden is the clear top option on the slate if he is playing tonight.

Brandon Ingram – PF (7,800 DK) Power Forward is easily the weakest position on tonight’s slate. However, Ingram gives us a nice option to get some great upside at a good price. Ingram is averaging over 40 FPTS per game this season, and the Lakers are a nice matchup with the studs out. The Lakers replacement forwards will struggle to defend Ingram tonight and we know he has massive upside. Ingram scored 54.5 FPTS last game, that is the kind of upside we are hoping for.
Enes Kanter– C ($6,400 DK) This is a great price to roster Kanter at, as we are used to seeing him closer to $7,000. Furthermore, Brooklyn is the best matchup in the league for centers and have consistently allowed monster performances to opposing big men. Kanter should be able to dominate on the glass tonight as well as get his scoring in. The price and matchup make Kanter an ideal target tonight and he fits easily into different builds. The center position is loaded tonight but Kanter is our favorite option.
Andrew Wiggins – F ($6,600 DK) This price is too cheap for the usage Wiggins gets when Curry is out. Wiggins has hit value in both games without Steph, and absolutely broke the slate in one of them with 66 FPTS. Wiggins has played mid 30’s minutes in the past two games without curry and we expect him to be all over tonight’s game as well. Wiggins typically has a low floor, but he is a lot safer a play with all the extra usage. Wiggins has upside for another monster performance, and he is still barely more expensive then when Curry was healthy.
Nicolas Claxton – Util ($3,900 DK) Claxton has been receiving an increasing number of minutes for Brooklyn. With all the injuries tonight, he should be solid for the 23 or more minutes he has seen the last few slates. Claxton scored just over 26 FPTS last game, which is the type of play we are looking for to crush value again tonight. Claxton’s minutes have been increasing steadily and he has some nice upside moving forward.

Rui Hachimura – SF ($5,200 FD) Hachimura has been seeing massive floor time as of late. He has played high 30’s or more minutes in the past five games and we expect him to see similar run tonight. Hachimura has scored well over 30 FPTS in four of the past five games and he is way too cheap tonight. Even with a tough matchup against the Knicks, we love getting to Hachimura at this price.
Bam Adebayo – PF ($8,000 FD) Adebayo is way too cheap tonight as he is back to full health. Adebayo went for 55 FPTS last game and has been priced down for tonight. The PF position is relatively weak tonight, but rostering Adebayo is great value at this price. Adebayo has upside for monster star performances and is not priced for that tonight.
