The NASCAR Xfinity Series will kick off with the Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner 300 at the ever-iconic Daytona International Speedway. This week has already been action-packed with the Busch Clash, Bluegreen Vacations Duels One and Two, and the NextEra Energy 250. This is bound to be an action-packed race with many lead changes and the potential for some big wrecks. The race will feature 36 drivers who will make 120 trips around the tri-oval on their way to victory lane. Each driver will look to shake off the offseason rust and start the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series on a positive note.

Tyler Reddick: I have been enjoying everything I have seen from Tyler Reddick since he burst onto the scene in 2018 and 2019 winning eight races in the Xfinity Series and was back to back champion. Reddick moved up to the Cup Series in 2020 and had a great rookie season with three top-five finishes and nine top 10 finishes. For me, anytime I see Reddick back in the Xfinity Series I am going to insert him into my lineup. With that as well, I don’t mind the price point for him either. Reddick capped off his 2020 Superspeedway record with a seventh-place finish at Talladega.
Justin Haley: 2020 was by far Justin Haley’s best year yet. Haley finished 2020 with three wins, 10 top-five finishes, and 113 laps led. What is looking great for Haley this weekend is that all three of his wins last year were at Daytona and Talladega. And to add to that he finished sixth in the only other race at Daytona in 2020. Haley’s dominance at Superspeedways last year was extremely evident. I am excited about having Haley in my lineup this week. Haley offers front line win potential and comes at a rather decent price point. I am a little shocked that Haley is not priced higher going into the Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner 300. Now to just put the icing on the cake, Haley’s one and only Cup Series win was at Daytona. Not many drivers can say that they have two wins apiece at the “Big One’s”.
Jordan Anderson: After competing in the NextEra Energy 250 last night and finishing second for the second straight year in the event Jordan Anderson is my sleeper pick of the week to win this race. In three races at Daytona in the Truck Series, Anderson has a top-five finish, two top 10 finishes, and had led a single lap. 2020 was Andersons best season so far and can provide lots of value this week and in the future as he moves to the Xfinity Series year. With his history at this racetrack in the Truck Series, I do not see why Anderson cannot at the least improve his position in this race.

Noah Gragson: Winner of last year’s NASCAR Racing Experience 300 at Daytona International Speedway, Noah Gragson is poised to put up a strong title defense in this weekend’s race. This was Gragson’s first career win. He finished 2020 with another win at Bristol Motor Speedway later in the year. Gragson finished 2020 with two wins, 17 top-five finishes, 25 top 10 finishes, and led 622 laps. Like I mentioned with Burton, Gragson is in the same spot where there are lots of wins and laps led up for grabs this year and he is ready to take some. In the last two years, Gragson has finished in the top 10 in 71 percent of his races.
Harrison Burton: The driver of the Number 20 Joe Gibbs racing Toyota Harrison Burton had an excellent 2020 season as he contended for wins and the rookie of the year trophy. Burton, in 2020 won four races, had 15 top-five finishes, 22 top 10 finishes, and led 291 laps. Burton was dominant in 2020, to say the least. With some of Burtons competition mobbing up to the Cup Series in 2021, this year seems like it’s Burtons time to shine. There will be approximately 2,500 laps led up for grabs this year as Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe, and Ross Chastain will compete full time in the cup series.
Jesse Little: After signing with JD Motorsports at the start of 2020 to race for the season full-time, Jesse Little finished 19th place with little funding. Little had two top 10 finishes in 2020, and what’s great is that one was at Daytona. With his rookie season under his belt Little is going to be looking forward to the 2021 season where he can try to turn his 10 top 15 finishes into top 10 finishes or better. I do not think Little is in contention to win this race, but I do think that he provides excellent value for someone who will be starting near the back of the pack.
