With only two games today things will be a little quieter and easier to sort through. The matchup between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Detroit Red Wings is likely to be a one sided affair. Whereas the matchup between the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers will be a much tighter contest. We like some players from all sides and will be putting together a nice mix for you.

The easiest choice of the night is putting Vasilevskiy in net. Detroit is one of the lowest scoring teams in the league and is struggling to keep pucks out of their own net. We do not like the goalie matchups in the other game with both offenses humming right now. Start Andre.
With the Red Wings giving up as many goals as they do we want to focus on the middle of the Lightning’s offense. We are putting their top two centers at the forefront of our card today. Brayden Point and Anthony Cirelli are both over a point per game and offer a nice spread for cost. They will be taking their shots tonight.
David Pastrnak is averaging six shots per game right now. Sure he has only had two contests since coming back from surgery but he has made a statement. The Rocket Richard winner is here and he is here to score goals. Boston’s top line is whole again.

Travis Konecny – W ($4,900 DK) was recently a healthy scratch and has not produced much as of late. As such his price has dropped below five grand and we are here for it. There are mixed reports about whether it was just for his performance or if the message was to the locker room as a whole. Either way he will right the ship and get back to producing sooner rather than later.
Nick Ritchie – W ($3,600 DK) has averaged double digit fantasy points this season for under four grand. Do we really need to spell it out? His ice time climbed to 18 min and he has cemented himself on the top power play as a net front presence with some of the most dangerous players in the game around him.
Charlie McAvoy – D ($5,000 DK). Speaking of Boston’s top power play we also have Charle McAvoy getting some bonus ice time these days. Coming into the season eyes were on Matt Grzelcyk being the quarterback. Grz got injured though and so Charlie is filling in for now. He has nine points in his last five games with three of those on the man advantage. Get after it.
Mikhail Sergachev – D ($4,100 DK) is our big sleeper for the day. The 22 year old has had a quiet start to the season and is spending time on the third pairing. That does not tell the whole story though as he is still getting around 20 minutes and second power play time. We like his shot totals and are ready to buy low. If he cannot score against Detroit we may have to hang him up for a while but now is the time.
Craig Smith – U ($3,700 DK) is having a little bit of a renaissance with Boston and is a classic add by their management team. Just over thirty with a ton left in the tank Craig Smith is cheap against the NHL salary cap and cheap against your fantasy cap.
Alternative Moves…
• Kevin Hayes – C ($5,800 DK) has scored two goals in the last two games and for some reason his price has gone down. We will take those odds. He does play against a tough Bruins squad but pair him with Konecny for some big upside.
• James van Riemsdyk – W ($4,700 DK) is top ten in the league for points right now. Yes you read that right. For a paltry sum you can have someone who is more likely than not to score a point.
• Ivan Provorov – D ($5,500 DK). If you have not figured it out yet this is our attempt to let you swap out Boston for Philadelphia in your squad. Provorov played thirty minutes in the last game and is a mainstay on the Flyer’s blue line.
